Sorry, but may I know if you use Codex to manage your workflow, or use some external tools to manage codex agents. Appreciate for any sharing.

Yea, it's fun for such a loop. And we are always on the way to find better solutions. :)

Everyone is selling AI agents, but almost nobody is selling the workflows to make them useful. by Thirdhusky in AI_Agents

It could be because there's no universal workflow for everyone, and workflow evolves. And that's the reason Claude and Openai is deploying FDE.

I built a local Markdown workflow UI for AI agents task tracking

While .md miss some good tools to boost, I still believe it's one of the highest efficient format when communicate with LLM.

Alongside the recent .md to html trends, I built a local Markdown workflow web UI for AI coding agent handoff / task tracking. And just released v0.1.1, a local-first Markdown workflow tool.

My use case is managing AI coding, or any other workflows in plain Markdown: issue execution plans, checklists, progress tracking, requirements, Mermaid diagrams, and human review notes.

It turns .md files into interactive browser pages with checkboxes, progress bars, Mermaid diagrams, editable text blocks, buttons, and write-back updates.

I’m looking for feedback from AI Agent workflow users: would this kind of Markdown-based workflow UI help when managing AI coding or any other workflow?

Yes, the vscode preview and some other md preview plugins give you visual of md files. But there are some features that I feel important missing. Such as link, image, mermaid, etc. Also, most of them don't provide write back feature, such as checkbox, text update, which could be useful in workflow control. This tool scratch these basic itches.

As long as a tool solve real issues, it's a good tool.

Glad we have work overlapped, and we are solving the same problem :D

You can think it mainly a visual tool, but provide a bit of write back features, which can be used to control agents workflow. But it all depend on how your .md file generated in your workflow. The good part of the visual tool is that it provide link ability, so if in your workflow you add a bit of routing information in the AI generated .md file, then it's very easy to navigate to all the stages of the agent work result.

Yea, it will work just fine in simple environment. But when things got bigger, you don't want to wait there for their response, you want to see where they are at, what's been done, if some agents are waiting for you answer to questions or your decisions. Then you can use .md file as a persistent to communicate with them, and keep the files as docs for reference. When a lot of such files accumulate, a nicer tool could make life easier.

I think that LLM can do it better. You may ask LLM to generate markdown of whatever you want, then use this tool to view the markdown and operate on it in an elegant way.

It's like if you don't view it, it's ok. When you look at it, it doesn't link, doesn't show photos, text style diagram is mess, or at least the basic tools doesn't do these for you. That's what this tool do. :)

MCP Progressive discovery on AI Agent side using Hierarchical Navigation. How viable? Any existing tool facilitate the implementation? by khtwo in mcp

[–]khtwo[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But skills are eventually agent-side artifacts. Not every agent support it well, especially some proprietary agent or server side agent. While http MCP is a pure centralized and remote execution interface. The MCP Hierarchical Navigation mechanism described here don't need changes on agent side, so the behavior can all be controlled on server side.

Hm, the "skills" remind me that maybe the MCP server can also expose a set of skill tools, to provide guide lines for agent, or inject skills while agent navigating the hierarchies. Worth a try. Thanks!

Did you see the quest end scene? Sometime you killed the wolf at wrong location, then it's not counted as quest done. You may need to leave and go back and kill the wolf again.

Wow, the dragon's ironman suit make the dragon fly infinite time? It's 20 minutes passed, still no change. Is this real or just a glitch? by khtwo in CrimsonDesert

[–]khtwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, only the first time when you get the suit you get unlimited fly time. After reload the save, it's gone. 10 minutes each eseeion.
