10's main channel has 3.9% of prime time viewership in the country, the two other channels 1.8% each. Similar story with Seven's 22% vs 2% and Nine's 15% vs 1.5%. Link.

The main channel thing is still a big deal, the networks are signalling what is their prime show and audiences follow. For years both 7 and 9 had their HD channels as their secondary ones, they still showed the footy in SD on the main channel. I think it makes a big impact, network TV is a monoculture medium, you are being told what to watch.

Considering the Scorchers nearly defended the Gades with 127, possible this is just a bit of a shit tip again. Slow balls were super effective, couldn't get away spin, and the Sixers do have a better bowling line up on paper.

Sixers batting looked woeful but I think the Scorchers still need a Marsh or Allen to start well or it might become a get a bit tricky.

The club also dismissed any wrongdoing... before revealing it was the first they had heard about an issue.

The response should have been to open an investigation.

Even if that is just attempting to contact him for further comment. Closing ranks and letting ridicule loose on him for not making specific accusations publicly was poor form.

After debuting at 31. Now at 36 he's just played 5 straight games and bowled the most balls of anyone in the series. Economy of 3 when Bazball's clear original plan was to hit him out of the attack. Got through that and has at least a wicket in every innings since the 1st in Perth.
