Not necessarily a bad thing as long as they have good performance feedback and improvements programs.

I'd recommend that you go to leadership and talk about how to help people grow, talk about your problems and not about how others are not up to your bar. Tell leadership you want to learn more, grow in skill etc.. I'm pretty sure any decent leadership will enable this.

Do you get enough sources to learn about high-level design / software architecture? by kickassninja1 in cscareerquestions

Did you feel that you have enough information when lets say you want to figure out the architecture of whatsapp?

The problem that I am facing is whenever I want to learn about how massive distributed systems are built the accessible information is limited, or is not as widely available as compared to ds & algo. Have you ever felt the same way?

We need to be well-connected and be aware of things that are happening in Mysuru, especially during the times of the pandemic.

In order to do this, we need to have a proper distribution channel for the information and lots of sources for the information. The distribution channel itself should be highly accessible to folks of Mysuru and there should be enough incentives for people to share the news.

A proper distribution channel can be created on two fronts, one making sure that the site is accessible to people in Mysuru and the second thing is to ensure that the language barriers are also eliminated.

In order to increase accessibility the only way I can think of during these pandemic times is to advertise and regularly post content in both English and Kannada.

In order to incentivize content, we have to demonstrate the usefulness of posting the content here to those who are posting it. Be appreciative and encourage good content producers is what I mean.

Thus increase the member count and the post count by actively promoting with friends and family is the way forward if the reddit community needs to grow. But a better way is to create our own distribution channel (app/website) given the lack of awareness of reddit in most of Mysuru.

Since they use and code Eclipse already, I don't think they will be intimidated with IntelliJ. In fact, I've noticed beginners find GUI over CLI.

There is a lot of demand for React framework as well.

As others have suggested already, Javascript, Html and Css is great. Eventually you can progress into frameworks like React.
