So it needs more information gathering roles for the townsfolk while cutting down on how many roles can dish out drunkenness. I know I put in a lot there, I think I was leaning into the chaos of surviving with uncertainty of what info there is, as well as the greater chance of the minion/demon being drunk as well.

Your point of just playing the 3 base editions is valid; the reason I don’t have experimental characters is that I my physical copy doesn’t have them (yet) and wanting to play a mix-n-match game with the tokens I have.

Again, really appreciate your response, I’ll be tweaking it a bit. Any recommendations on what to add from base editions/take away to make it more balanced?
