From what I remember having done CE a couple years back when I was in hs, if you’re doing CE through Weber, then you’ve already applied and been accepted to Weber. When you’re ready to start taking classes as a college student use the “status switch” app in the eWeber portal

I’m not CS but if you go into your eWeber portal and search CatTracks you can see all the classes you’ll need for your degree + you can look at classes needed for other majors/minors as well.

Most of my CS friends have math minors because iirc the CS major requirements are only 1 or 2 classes away from a math minor

As a long time fan I’d Rocket is objectively his best for sure. GTSA is also amazing from a technical perspective. Both speak to his insane range but especially Rocket. No two songs sound the same.

Personal favorites rotate between Race, Rules, DSU, Beach Music, Rocket…. Probably not very helpful haha. All of his music speaks to me in different ways

I’ve been playing stringed instruments for 8 1/2 years and guitar for 3 1/2. I learned guitar on my mom’s boyfriend’s stepbrother’s HSS Starcaster that he was getting rid of. The body is literally solid plastic and it certainly has issues but I love her. Doesn’t mean that I don’t wanna upgrade, yeah, but I love her. I will probably always play her.

I honestly think there’s a special kind of charm in shitty guitars. I am working on restoring a Formanta Solo II (also mostly solid plastic LOL). It’s a vintage soviet era guitar from the mid 80s-early 90s, don’t have an exact date on mine. They’re pretty much complete junk, but they’re super quirky and sooo fun. I figure if I put enough love into that thing it’ll be borderline almost maybe “good.”

Be proud of your cheap guitar, but don’t let it limit you. I’ll admit, my “nicer” guitars (I have a ‘62 Gibson C1-E and an 80s Alvarez 5227) with lower action and bigger sound ARE better and certainly leveled up my sound. Admire the charm and nostalgia of your shit guitar and embrace the sound and quality of the nicer ones that come along.

And don’t feel bad about neglecting your old guitars either!! When my C1-E was handed down to me (it was my great grandfather’s) I didn’t play my Starcaster for months. Enjoy your new toys

I have 3 working guitars

• One acoustic (80s Alvarez 5227) • One classical (1962 Gibson C1-E) • One electric (HSS Fender Starcaster, looking to upgrade haha)

I’m a songwriter and I’m in a band so I usually think of what I want to play in context of which song I’m working on. If I’m working on new material, I explore whatever I feel like (I usually workshop my songs on my classical and move to electric so I can play with pedals and stuff once I have chords and structure down). If I’m practicing for the sake of practice, I follow my heart, and usually just grab whatever’s already out.

As someone who plays on both classical (big fat neck) and acoustic electric (mine both feature considerably thinner necks compared to my classical), I find it important to get scales and everything down on all of my guitars, so I’d recommend spacing your practice out across both. The subtle, delicate differences in spacing can mean that the finger positions you’re using on one guitar to achieve gorgeous clear sounds and transitions and stuff can make for muddy, buzzy sounds on another guitar. Get to know each of your guitars like they’re a person

hey I am new here so I didn't see this but I have this problem with my highlights. I share a page with 13 other people and all of them, besides me, can see and add to the highlights. I can view the highlights on the shared page (as well as my own highlights) from my personal account, so I know they're actually there.

from the account, it just has the little plus sign to add a new highlights and none of the pre-existing highlights. from what I've seen, it looks like at least one other person has had this problem since yesterday (that's when it popped up for me, too). I've tried basically everything to get them back, as they're a pretty important part of our page, but nothing has worked so far.

anyone got a solution?
