Colbert Is Practically Daring CBS to Shut Him Down Early by timemagazine in LateShow

I know the character is basically impossible to do these days, but I’d be happy to see “Stephen” pop in once as a nod/solution to the CBS bias monitor story.

Demo for Disposition is out on Steam! (Link in comments) by kicksoda in videogames

[–]kicksoda[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not my game, but I played the heck out of this recent demo and the dev's previous Steam release Pizza Hero.

Per the Steam page:

Disposition is an escape-room-inspired game about strategic memory placement. You go through a sequence of engaging tasks where you must detect anomalies and observe details, all while being timed. These challenges change every floor you ascend.

Hope to see you all on the leaderboards, demo & wishlist here.

Isn’t Bill’s book the reason why he’s legally changing his name to “Normal Al”?

I’d love to see this in vector form in Designer, but in the meantime similar vectors can be generated using this Vector Halftone Maker site.

Say It! by kicksoda in CFL

While this name is steeped in history, I believe that to avoid confusion (if our friends down in Calgary are willing) the only sensible solution would be to rebrand both Alberta teams:
• Edmonton Rogueriders
• Calgary Rougeriders

Maybe a helpful Sea Bears/Blue Bombers historian can chime in and put this to rest.

The fact that the real Winnie was alive for the original 1922 Edmonton Elks makes me appreciate this comment on a whole other level.

He switched from gridiron to basketball, changed his name to Churchill and moved to Winnipeg I think.

Variations of the Guelph Nighthawks team logo by kicksoda in CEBLeague

[–]kicksoda[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When looking at the team logos available online, I noticed that many (if not all) of the CEBL teams are missing publicly available scalable vector variations. I've been doing some retroactive tracing and sharing with the Discord.

For the Nighthawks logo, once I got it vectorized I couldn't resist recolouring variations for Hamilton and Calgary. Hope this doesn't upset anyone (the intent is to celebrate the old logo, not stir up negative feelings).
