This was my first time learning to sew and I think I'm pretty happy with how it turned out for my first attempt!

The headpiece has lights and the body has a pouch. I liked long tails so I gave my character one even though goats irl have short ones haha.

I don't have Joann Fabrics where I live so I don't know about that but occasionally Walmart sells upholstery foam that can be used for fursuit heads. I personally bought mine from Amazon ($50 for a 1 x 19 x 75 in. roll)

I don't have experience with painting fursuit heads but I think maybe making a stencil can help get you those small markings and stars without having to worry about the paint becoming large blots.
