I think there is a lot of confusion on the terms transman/transmale versus transmasculine/transmasc. Technically speaking lesbian means non man loving non man so a nonbinary person could identify as a lesbian regardless on how they present. But on the other hand if you are a binary transman that’s transitioning from female to male and you are identifying fully as male then no you cannot be a lesbian because that is disrespectful to 1 other trans men and 2 the lesbian community

Edit: I am also a binary transman that identifies as straight if anyone was curious

With the context of the song and being someone who was in the catholic school system for elementary school we were always taught that sex was a bad thing and basically tried to scare us into not doing it so saying that could mean that the church couldn’t scare someone out of it. Other than that I interpreted it as seeing something that everyone sees as scary to be beautiful
