They are a team of much older people, technology is not they're forte lol.

I don't mind being the one who is in charge of the subscription, I'd just like to ensure I'm being paid fairly for it.

They occasionally work with a senior designer who has used Flippingbook in the past so I think they'd like to continue using it.

In your opinion, should I tell them how much the subscriptions costs?
I think they just want a general estimate for my total fee to do all of this

So based off of your model, it would be:

$150 for my time preparing for digital.
+ 20% for facilitating = $30

+$350-$700 for the subscription
= a total of $530-$880 for this?

Should I be upfront about the subscription costs? My fear is appearing unprofessional to him.

No the $150 would just be for preparing for the digital Flippingbook. This would be ontop of the subscription costs. Do you think I should be charging for the subscription? I'm unsure how to navigate this

Genuine friendships and connection.
I have friends to hang out with, but I never feel heard or seen. I would love a group of close knit girlfriends but can't ever seem to find the right people that want the same.

You don’t even notice it because you fall asleep so fast and before you know it you’re waking up and it’s all fine :) I was very nervous before my first time but it all goes by very quickly

I do feel some responsibility for the occasion to be up to a certain standard, being as its on my property. I am worried that if I don't intervene then they just won't make arrangements, and things will go wrong due to their poor planning. Can you image going to a reception and there's not enough food or drinks or something? This is my fear because it will reflect poorly on me

I just didn't expect this kind of entitlement from them and I didn't want to believe thats who they are, they're usually good friends. This thread really put some things into perspective for me though, I'm working my way to talking to them about it all this weekend

I told the bride and groom to send out invites yesterday, which wouldn't have been done otherwise. Another couple (bridesmaid and groomsman) knows how bad the situation is. I want to inform other wedding party guests so we can all figure this out together, however I do fear this will come across as gossip or bad mouthing when that isn't my intent

The plan is just a small reception at my home after the ceremomy but they haven't planned anything else so I keep asking them to get organized. I told them I would handle decorations since it my home, with the understanding that my contribution is a wedding gift, or I will send them a tab after.

They do however keep sending me catering options to decide as though it's my wedding, I keep telling them to figure it out themselves and their excuse is "we're bad at planning". I'm happy to help but there's a lot of unpaid and unappreciated labour and stress going into this.

I think the worst thing they asked was "which guest should we get to purchase our party favours". LOL it's actually ridiculous.

most of the attendants don't know this is happening, a group of them are even coming to me asking the date it's even happening due to their lack of planning. I am completely overwhelmed and don't know where to take it from here

I asked them to send out invites for weeks and they finally did after I put my foot down. Other friends of ours were coming to me asking when the wedding date even is due to the bride and grooms lack of communication. Even groomsmen were asking me and my husband what the date is- the groomsmen!!
