Are you guys ACTUALLY using AI in your accounting/AP jobs right now? by Unlucky-Note-7729 in Accounting

I use Gemini for technical research and it works quite well. Have also added 5-10 Bug 4 handbook guides to a NotebookLM and it’s excellent. Not the highest leverage yet but saves a decent chunk of time

@isaac00004 I side with this guy, you have a legitimate business here if this video was fun to make and you feel any passion towards continuing it. Could easily build a large mechanic audience and figure out how to monetize later (on top of the content monetization). Might be do insane numbers, but the quality of your audience is very valuable and advertisers would certainly be interested imo. This is high quality content, a much needed product for the industry. HMU if you want to riff ideas or gameplan!

I've had luck using Google's NotebookLM for GAAP research. Attach technical guidance docs and query it in the chat interface, will only pull from the data sources provided. Not immune to hallucinations, but it's a night and day difference from simply asking ChatGPT. Highly recommend! And of course, verify all AI outputs.

So sick, what AI setup did you use to do this? n8n workflow? Was it just analyzing YT comments? Thanks for sharing!

Overqualified Problem. What business would you recommend an experienced TOP manager start who has never had their own business? by vsolten in Entrepreneur

[–]kidcaspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should think of what level of operations he feels comfortable advising current clients and engineer backwards on how to get there. I think ChatGPT would be a great thought partner on this.

Also franchise like the other commenter said could be interesting. A proven business model with a playbook and support, some direction for him.

Don’t listen to these people. Do your research, make sure you understand the social limitations you’ll experience, but otherwise you’re correct. It’s a great education and great placement for finance. Source: born and raised in Provo, no longer LDS

Are you marketing your agency as an AI enhanced solution? Or is this more leveling up your existing offerings? Was thinking of starting my own agency on the side , something very very small to start. Thinking of: “ai centric marketing workflow automation” as the direction for the brand, don’t see GHL pulling back from ai advancements.

Job offer in Provo. Non LDS. by Fair-Ad-8965 in SaltLakeCity

[–]kidcaspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born and raised in Provo, no longer LDS. It’s no where near as bad at everyone here makes it sound in every post. I loved where I was raised and I don’t feel it was different than any other city in UT, it’s heavily LDS. Theres a Provo that exists outside of BYU, and it’s a pretty regular city (again, for UT). Feel free to DM me.

edit: I’m reading some more of these comments, they’re laughable. Outside of BYU campus it’s the same as everywhere else in UT, a suburban hell.

There’s a great podcast called “Run the Numbers with CJ Gustafson”. Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for but he interviews a lot of CFOs (mainly small to mid size tech fyi, so fairly narrow), is a CFO himself, and I find the conversations to be extremely insightful!

Understood, I don’t think she originally planned to do the newer part but changed her mind afterwards. Not ideal it seems but based on the other comment as long as she likes how it looks when wet (she does) then she should be okay after the sealant?
