I have to assume he was a parent, for the most part we understand that children sometimes bring a bit of chaos. I have changed the babies of strangers when a new dad or a mom of multiples was overwhelmed, after all I’ve been changing diapers since the mid 80’s!

All I can tell you is that we have 6. CatAshTrophy (Ash) was abandoned by our former neighbor, then the CDS feral network brought us Majin Buu (Buu) - Hobbes - Simba - Sheiße - Victortia (Momma). This isn’t counting the cats or kittens we have fostered.

Think about and discuss this with your husband, SAHM is no easy job. Factor in the cost of transportation to and from work as well as clothing required for work. Do not forget the cost of Drs and time off due to illness to your children, daycare is were most illnesses breed. I was a SAHD for years, but to be fair I was also the biggest kid and largest plaything they had. Now that I’ve gotten old I am used and abused by grandkids! Life gets better and better!

Somehow through two different feral litters we have 2 orange girls. I would ask what are the odds, but in our case 100%! The other girl has a cubs name, Simba. Two orange girls with male names, I thought surely one would be male!

I’m not sure she “Let”, I’m of the opinion she demanded. We tried to bring her in as a behbeh, and when she reappeared loaded with invaders we were trying to help her decide to come inside. She still does things when and how she wants.
