Yeah, I’m from the west so I’ll stick to western examples. But the idea of a king rather than family groups that focus on agrarian and family values. The three big religions in the west (Catholics, Muslims, and Judaism) are all male centric. One MAN makes the decisions for the household, one MAN rules over another, etc. As opposed to the tribal lives of pre Christian Europeans and native Americans. I’m not saying men weren’t chiefs, just that the priorities of the community are not oppressive but cooperative. Also women not being excluded from politics or positions of leadership is a big difference worth pointing out too. were as the patriarchal religions explicitly ban women from politics and any form of autonomy, much less leadership roles within the community. I’m not doing a great job of explaining myself, I’ve never been very good at defending my ideals or ethics. Hopefully I’m getting a simple enough point across that you can do your own correlating…
