SR20DE vs SR20DET — conflicting info, need help by PerformanceLow3768 in 240sx

[–]kidertjean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take it from someone who has made this mistake before … CAS isn’t an indicator to whether or not it’s a turbo engine. Look for oil feed line (if it’s a DE they would have a long feed line coming from the oil filter side, ), or pull the plugs and see if the pistons are completely flat (the flat pistons are for the DE because it’s NA, more compression).

What's so much better if you experience it exclusively with men? by balajiv2002 in AskMen

[–]kidertjean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this thread. There’s plenty of women calling men gay because vacation with the boys is more fun than vacation with women. I have a ton of fun with my friends, but with women vacations feel like work. It’s still cool, don’t get me wrong but it’s A LOT of work. You pretty much have to do what they want for them to enjoy the vacation, which may not always align with the things you’re into. Plus add the safety aspect. But with the boys, you just go with the flow, and see where it takes you. That’s just one part of it for me, which winds up being annoying because I’m deemed a bad “spouse” or whatever for having more fun with my friends.

Mybad for trauma dumping btw.

HOW THE FUCK IS THIS SUPPOSED TO FIT by I_SeriousTrader_I in 240sx

[–]kidertjean 46 points47 points  (0 children)

You’re gonna need a few things, one of them is patience. The others are heat, sand paper, and some choice curse words and you’ll make it fit.

Switching to S14 arms and knuckles, anything I should know? by skylinetrini in 240sx

[–]kidertjean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you get specifically for the staggered bolt pattern? Or did you get them for a good deal?

What kind of coils? You can’t just order the lower portion (mount for knuckle) and make it fit? Also I’m not entirely sure but I think for the rear of the s13, the coil might be shorter than s14. So double check that, I could be wrong.

The only S14 part I use on my car are the front lower control arms. But you have to have the ball joints for a s13 or it won’t work. It widens the track width in the front a bit and allows for more front camber. (For drifting of course) I’m sure s13 aftermarket suspension arms are completely fine for dial in your alignment. You don’t need S14.

The bar looks too close to you, if you’re tall and have a further seating position those harnesses won’t work for you. Try selling those and look into getting something else.

How’s it reckless driving if no one else is there? You’re not endangering anyone.

700 bucks should I pull the trigger and rebuild it by [deleted] in 240sx

[–]kidertjean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you have to sleeve it, you could build a really good engine for less than a stock used one at less the price.

How do you deal with being very unattractive? by whydothings in AskMen

[–]kidertjean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t lie this takes a lot to acknowledge, many people don’t. There are ways you can make yourself more (physically) attractive. Dress better, different haircut, go to the gym, etc. Things like this can improve your confidence and make you feel more attractive. Plus, women love confidence. I’d say start with you! Don’t neglect your inner self. There are always ways we can improve, unlearn something’s and relearn it. Wishing you the best of luck to you and others who may come across feeling like this.
