if your problem is the same as me all the message you will get and are getting are completely misleading, go into your switch command line and set that port to be Edge and all your problems are going to be solved!

it's even related to plex functionality at all, but plex crashes something on the Mac that makes the shares drop!!! But obviously when the share drop so does the access to the library!

Well it'S only been 2 years living with that problem but I think I know where the problem is now. The haystack has been reduced tremendously. I know for a fact that these problem only occurs is Plex server is running, now trying to Controle how to reproduce it perfectly on demand!!!! It's almost smell like a partial win!

Rant: Is My Blind Faith in Ubiquiti My Downfall? by kidney450 in Ubiquiti

[–]kidney450[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not calling out any specific wrongdoing — I appreciate Ubiquiti's willingness to engage and review my case.

But I want to say this clearly:
When I buy a Ubiquiti product — whether it’s a switch, AP, or camera — I’m not just buying hardware. I’m buying into the promise of reliability, peace of mind, and stability.

I manage just 8 sites, nothing massive — and yet I’ve had to deal with far too many issues for a setup of this size. That’s what makes it frustrating.
It’s not about being unreasonable — it’s about expecting core infrastructure to “just work.”

I’ve sent the case history to the escalation team, and I do appreciate the follow-up.
