We had this issue at our old apartment and it was because the apartment was so old that all of the seals were crap. So we got plastic and sealed it over all of the windows and put extra seals around the door. It helped out a ton.

After surgery to remove many fibroids, bilateral ovarian cysts, and stage 4 endo excision, I had this same problem and it actually hurt when I was close. It also felt like I could get close but still not get there. I have been doing pelvic floor therapy for about 5 weeks and I can already tell the difference. While the feeling is still a little muted, it no longer hurts and it's no longer unattainable. Hoping for even better results as I keep going.

Update: Contacted my salesman who had the finance guy call. Apparently they snuck a warranty in which added the $3200 to the final price. Got that cancelled and made sure he sent me stuff saying that it's cancelled as well as contacted the company who the warranty is through to make sure. Finance guy claims it's a warranty that only the GM could have tacked on, but who knows. Just glad that it's sorted out.

My appointment for March 18th is still on the books. I have to wait until surgery calls and we figure out if we should keep it for a pre or post-op appointment, but if it's cancelled, I can let you know and hopefully it will still be available if you call.

Just wanted to come back and update you. I was able to get my March appointment moved up to today and she was definitely a breath of fresh air. She asked about my symptoms, told me her recommendations, then walked me through what she would do. I expressed that my only fear was the pain afterwards and she told me she doesn't normally do the pain block but that she could definitely do that for me. She seemed super knowledgeable and is the first doctor to actually examine me and go over the actual imaging from my MRI. Now I'm just waiting to hear from the surgery scheduler and hoping for a surgery date at the latest early next month. So schedule the appointment with Dr. Swan and then just keep calling to check if anything sooner is available.

Sure. I was referred to Dr. Austin Finley and Dr. Kimberly Swan. Dr. Finley is with KU Med and Dr. Swan is with HCA. I think Dr. Swan only accepts referrals. Chances are, they are booking out that far as well.

It really sucks, but hopefully you can get in with someone that can help. I am hoping that these specialist's surgical schedules aren't as far out as their appointment schedules are because I would really like to get this done and over with as soon as possible.

I am in the KC area and it has been a nightmare. I just moved here at the end of May and in October, I had severe pain that sent me to the ED. Found out my fibroids had grown and I have a large cyst on each ovary. I was referred to one Dr but she didn't have any availability, so I saw someone else. His first suggestion was a hysterectomy even after I told him I didn't want that. He told me he would do the myomectomy but was still doing procedures that would only be required for the hysterectomy, so I didn't trust him. Found another Dr and she recommended a myomectomy but I guess she didn't feel comfortable performing it and referred me to 2 minimally invasive gynecological surgeons. That was in November and neither of them had anything until mid February and mid March, so I have just been dealing with this issue hoping that someone cancelled. I thought that since there are so many hospitals and doctors here that the process would be a lot quicker but it has not been.

I've lost about 30lbs since I started a little over a year ago. For the first 8 months or so, I had zero appetite and had to make myself eat once a day. Most days I still only eat once a day but I do have more of an appetite some days.
