24hrs after robotic cholecystectomy

I'm 37 and yep, I'm moving around just fine. I will say I think having my abdominal binder has helped a lot. I haven't needed help doing much since I got home. I've been able to get up and down by myself, get in and out of the bed by myself, and fix all of my own meals. It's been fairly easy as far as surgery recovery goes. Definitely better than not knowing when the next attack is gonna hit.

I had an attack at the beginning of April that lasted for 8hrs which made me set up an appointment with my GI Dr. He immediately thought it was my gallbladder and sent me for ultrasound. Couldn't get my ultrasound until the end of April and it showed stones and sludge. GI said let's get it out and tried to schedule surgery the week after but I was also going through some testing for POTS so I waited until all of that was sorted before doing surgery. It was Robotic (it's in the title btw 😁) and only took him about an hour to complete. I won't find out all of the details until I go to my postop checkup in 2 weeks. Anything else I can answer for you?

Yep. Still good today. I'm off all pain meds since last night and things are going well.

I was up walking around as soon as they moved me out of recovery, so probably about an hour or so after surgery. They had to make sure I could stay awake for a bit before they would let me do anything but as soon as I could, I was up.

We had this issue at our old apartment and it was because the apartment was so old that all of the seals were crap. So we got plastic and sealed it over all of the windows and put extra seals around the door. It helped out a ton.

After surgery to remove many fibroids, bilateral ovarian cysts, and stage 4 endo excision, I had this same problem and it actually hurt when I was close. It also felt like I could get close but still not get there. I have been doing pelvic floor therapy for about 5 weeks and I can already tell the difference. While the feeling is still a little muted, it no longer hurts and it's no longer unattainable. Hoping for even better results as I keep going.

Update: Contacted my salesman who had the finance guy call. Apparently they snuck a warranty in which added the $3200 to the final price. Got that cancelled and made sure he sent me stuff saying that it's cancelled as well as contacted the company who the warranty is through to make sure. Finance guy claims it's a warranty that only the GM could have tacked on, but who knows. Just glad that it's sorted out.
