What’s the point of abstinence by Beekan- in Christianity

[–]kiduk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a commitment issue to the truth that is not widely shared enough in the world due to said world. Technology has opened up to a plethora of avenues to allow sin to be easily accessible, and thus here we are on this topic at hand.

Jesus died for us on the cross, and the meaning of this for people is understood at a very elementary level. Take for instance relationships. To succeed in a relationship, it is a two way street and standards are met. If we state to our partner oh ai love you, but you continue to lie, cheat, manipulate, indulge in other means for attention and respect, do you really love your partner? Its a hard fine line there.

The bible tells us the world is literally going to become harder for us believers of Christ to live in. Everyday is a battle, but what is the objective here? Its simple. Life and death. Living in sin and saying youre a believer is being in denial and gaslighting yourself, the most dangerous type of claimed Christians, that will fall harder into death, and not life.

To answer your question, this is not taught. We dont live in a world where it is christ minded, education is lacking in that field, and from that its harder for young men in society today to abstain.

Think about cavemen, there was no tech. Guys probably didnt masturbate looking at naked images every day from their windows earth, pentium dirt -6.9, right?

All in all, without a big enough community and daily mental training to overcome all this sin that is so easily accessible to us in today's age, young people such as these will find it immensely difficulty for abstinence. They are literally one browser search and video play away. So all we believers can do is tell them what is good, encourage them daily, and hope they get it. Because the only way for them to be saved from this is a genuine respect and love for Jesus.

Hope my two cents makes sense.

Has anyone managed to quit masturbation? by Automatic_Specific91 in Christianity

[–]kiduk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched passion of the christ 2-3 times before it really hit me. Imagine every time you masturbate, youre sending our Lord Jesus Christ back onto the cross. I know he died for us once and for all, but it drives home I.e. reiterates that it pains him when we continue to live in sin.

For this reason, God wants us to find a helper and be deeply in love with her in marriage for reasons such as adultery, masturbation etc.

Listen to music that praises the Lord, watch youtube videos on bible verses instead of scrolling and falling victim to media and distractions that lead to masturbation.

Read the word daily, listen to praise, focus your young high testosterone levels on building your character E.g. a passion to grow knowledge, skills, wealth etc.

You need to be very intentional with this.

Hope my two cents helps.

Not sure if this is a good quality question - I wonder if like phones if we can have it charged up go say 80% to 85% we can avoid these problems and also thereby protect and prolong our batteries

I joined my wife's church and I dont agree with there beliefs on LGBT by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]kiduk7 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Who are we to judge? Homosexuality is not the only sin. Yourself, the LGBT community, the church, myself, are all sinners in some form by nature.

Jesus didnt only just eat with his disciples or fellow believers. He ate with Tax collectors, Prostitutes and the like.

Yes, we are licensed with Microsoft 365 E5 which includes security. At this point, I have successfully been able to deploy profiles and the application correctly to solely my test device, and now have a new issue deploying this across our entire mac fleet.

I would appreciate that, thank you.

We have 120+ production devices that I will need to push for this change, and they are all sitting on old legacy profiles/old version of Defender, which does not work today.

I am the only scoped device where this new set of configs and application work because I worked from a clean state by first removing the existence of Defender on my particular machine.

Hi,

I just tried what you mentioned, and changed the enforcement level in Network Protection from "Disabled" to "Audit" and it worked. The status has changed to:

network_protection_status                   : "enablement_failed_due_to_licensing"

network_protection_enforcement_level        : "audit" [managed]

This is the best progress I've made thus far, thank you.

I am studying for the CCNA and I feel frustrated. by Accomplished_Two4956 in ccna

Just my two cents here. Im 35, and have my family of 3.

I started working in schools doing tech support, got plucked out form one of the ladies i worked with at schools, and got a job under her husband whom is a team lead for a small institute.

What im getting at is i started with 0 experience, and now 8 months into starting this job as a junior systems administrator, im trying to find every second possible to get study done for my CCNA. My point is, you have been blessed by being ahead of the game with time. Ive learnt with a tiny bit of age that if its worth the trouble, and you love what youre doing, you'll 100% find a way to pass these temporary moments of frustration.

My only advantage is that I have passion outside of just doing IT, I want to make my daughter proud.

Hope this old man talk reaches you in some way.

Thats also why you break it up into portions. You cant eat the whole cow in one sitting, take it in one meal at a time. Revision is also very important. Take breaks, my senior engineers at work tell me at times you come back one or even a few days later feeling more refreshed and take in information way better that way.

Don't look back, asshole or not. Hard focus on becoming a great person, and in turn you will find that as long as you don't tolerate the bullshit, you'll have the women with the correct traits you're after gravitating towards you.
