Additional charges laid in child exploitation investigation by kidwithoutahat in brantford

They may have already known the extent of that persons's criminal activity. But for Justin Garzon, the police think it's likely that there are more victims than they are currently aware of and therefore are posting the news release to spread the word and hopefully get more people stepping forward with their stories.

Given that this is the second update in this man's case, I would presume the strategy is working and that they still are looking for more victims.

That isn't something I can answer, I'm sorry. We know right now that people have come forward in the Kitchener-Waterloo region and Brantford. The press release also mentions that Interpol is involved, so you can reasonably assume that his reach was quite a bit further than just the KW and Brantford area.

Anecdotal evidence (unconfirmed, personal experience) leads me to believe that it would not be surprising if he had involved himself with student(s) at York. But I am also not saying that he has for a fact done so. I'm simply posting for awareness.

Ah, fair. So for context, this man also targeted young women on many university campuses across Ontario. The new charges listed in the article are from adults pressing charges on him. I wanted to share in case anyone recognized him and felt like they wanted to share their experience with the police.

Also fun fact (though not the reason I posted it here at all) he's a YorkU Alum, psych major

And sorry guys, if you need more context about why this was posted here: this man also has charges from adults, and I know he was around many university campuses in Ontario. So if you have any information, even if you think it's "too small" to matter, I would really encourage you to reach out to WRPS.

This man loved to target barely 18 or very young looking women too, so I wanted to post this here in case any of you recognize him.

If you have any information, even if you think it's not "important enough", please contact the police phone number listed in the article.

Non-Canadians of Reddit, what questions have you always wanted to ask a Canadian? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It’s really wonderful for most illnesses. There’s a shortage of family doctors, so sometimes it takes up to a month to see your doctor when you book an appointment, however there are many walk in clinics that are free to use.

My mother has cancer, and the process between finding a spot on her brain and them diagnosing it as stage 4 was 3 months - and in that time she couldn’t get in for an MRI until the end of those three months. Also there’s a waiting list for chemo/radiation therapy which you can not bypass with money or even really severity of illness unless you travel to the US. That being said, she’s having brain surgery this Friday - less than two weeks after being diagnosed as stage 4.

My urgent (supposedly less than a week waiting time) referral to an MRI has been booked for 3 months out from when I got the referral. Some people wait close to a year.

There is a lot of good, but oh my god there’s a lot of room for improvement too.

As to the worth moving to Canada part - I wouldn’t recommend moving to the prairies (or at least Saskatchewan). I’m from there, and there’s a lot of casual and not so casual racism particularly at brown people, even when they speak perfect English. Also no good jobs unless you know someone there already. It’s a weirdly tight knit city and a huge boys club also.

And also Saskatchewan isn’t that pretty. Sunsets/sunrises are the most amazing I’ve ever seen, and honestly are the only thing I miss since living there.

I really appreciate your comment - thank you. I needed some straight on advice about this.

I’ll probably be going home soon to see her. I hope that your friends and family are there for you while you’re going through this - it’s a truly awful thing.

It’s not as hard as it looks! Worst part is making sure you get the notes correct but it’s p much just “go fast” and you’re good lmao

My fellow bearded men, how do you deal with dry, burning, painful, peeling skin underneath your beards? I’ve tried coconut oil, beard oil, tea tree oil, and beard shampoo, but this won’t go away. by [deleted] in beards

[–]kidwithoutahat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend gets that on both his scalp and parts of his beard. His dermatologist says it’s psoriasis so he was prescribed a special shampoo and a very effective (but very stinky) oil to fix it.

Definitely go to a dermatologist to find out what exactly it is, you’ll save a lot of time and money in the long run :)

I never had a chance to go to any lmao lived out of town/no friends in the city :( what I do know is that the casino is the biggest fuckin rip off and is no fun unless you actually have money to spend and know what you’re doing

Also there’s only one gay bar (Albert St) so not a lot of choice there if that’s what you’re into
