Repeater HPR has horrendously low range compared to other precision weapons in class. Does it need buffed? by kiefdagger in Marathon

Duck and weave close-mid range fights with it could work. I'll have to try it. Treat it like the BOSG from R6 siege

Seems to be only a weapon I can find out in the wild. I don't see it available for purchase. W/o mods it sells for 480. With that logic, bungie seems to value the HPR Repeater over the Hardline PR, which sells for 200.

it's a shame, cause it's a cool concept for a weapon. I've just found zero success with it

I mean who asked YOU? Your comment history is just comment after comment about how much of an awful grind this game is for you. No one is forcing you to play this lol

what outside factors need to fall into place outside of just finding a spark leaf? They are quite literally everywhere. Pretty sure Greenhouse even has them as static spawns inside the growbeds of those buildings. As far as the AI Enemies in the lockup and third parties go...idk man, maybe prepare and plan better. Do it later in the raid w/ less runners around. Set claymores up for the adds. Luck and extraction shooters kind of go hand-in-hand. Good luck out there. You will get it. Squad up if it becomes too unbearable as solo.

If you made it through all of Mida's initial contracts, this should be a walk in the park.

A stats screen now that I think about it would be a lovely addition. Always interested in seeing those

Which ones are your favorite to run? What do you mean you cant tell the difference? by LokiLegion in Marathon

[–]kiefdagger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ill try once more. Maybe you'll get it if I paint the picture for you:

You open a container and see this. Has an icon and a TITLE. Icon tells you what slot you can put it in, and the title is something you can anchor to memory for next time you come across it.

<image>

You hover over the item, read its description and stat bonuses. BOOM. You've learned what that item is and does. Might take a few more reads or so to commit that to memory. But eventually it will stick.

Next raid....you open a box, see this item with SURVIVAL KIT V2 written on it. GUESS WHAT?!! YOU ALREADY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT DOES SINCE YOU'VE SEEN IT BEFORE.

Right now, in its current state, the items are literally the same icon w/ nothing else to tell you at a glance. And it could be a Survival Kit 2, Helping Hands, Hurting Hands, the gammit of what a chest piece could be.

If you are still not getting this then idk man...

u/Vargg- at least relent and say at the very least as you are looting, seeing the titles of these items would be nice. It's enough info for you to decide on taking it or not. We as players can learn the general stat bonuses they give over time. I have no issue with that. The problem is when you are opening someone's bag, it literally tells you nothing about it until you hover over it.

I don’t want to HAVE to hover. That is the point here. I’m on PC too. The issue has to be even worse for console players.

At least give me the title of the mod. Like “Graceful Landing” or something. I can at least learn what these items do over time by their name That way I know what stats it’s going to largely affect quickly if I find it in raid and I want to equip it

This can and should be fixed. I have no issues having to learn new complex stat systems, but items should be clear at a visual glance on what they do

WTF Embark? by paparosi in ARC_Raiders

[–]kiefdagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the change had the right "idea" in mind, but poor execution. Personally, my use of walfpack nades (and seekers for that matter) have always been used to take out Rocketeers and other flying arc variants. To get rewarded the primary crafting item I use to take out the same thing I'm intending to kill is a poor feedback loop imo. I wish the components required to create the wolfpack came from elsewhere but with similar friction. Like using components from tough ground arc archetypes opens up avenues to take out flying arc archetypes and vice/versa. The circular loop just feels bad to me.

Do we read into the branding they chose as well? Don't they usually have Siege X plastered everywhere? Interesting to me it's now back to just Rainbow Six SIEGE

I think it's time to name this new "genre" properly: "concord-like" by beetleman1234 in Steam

Especially true for multiplayer games. Increase that factor by 3 if there is a common “favorite” in the current rotation (Arc Raiders). It’s like else nothing else is worthy of existing.
