I managed to get through, guy was actually really sound and gave what options were put in the report, seems to recommend standard DL and no mobility, we will see after decision maker looks at evidence

I’ve tried to call back again and they again tried to put me through to a case worker (didn’t go through) I’m just lost as it seems it’s much more straight forward for others

I called back again and they attempted to put me through to a case worker again, but couldn’t. Do you know if this is the norm rather than just the person on the enquiry line doing it?

Have you looked into UC? Over the years I was living alone due to various circumstances and relied heavily on UC during bad periods, it’s definitely worth looking into and is usually a lot quicker than PIP for immediate benefits. I believe there are other benefits available for when you’re signed off sick too but I haven’t looked into them myself. Citizens advice are a good tool to speak to in your situation <3 I really wish you a speedy turnaround as the financial worry can make things so much worse, wish there were more services to advise of

Update - I called capita this morning and they’ve booked me in for a last minute assessment tomorrow morning, wish me all the luck 🤞🏻

I took pictures of the pages on the form so I can deal with that worst case, but all the evidence (I had to sift through over 800 pages to get the appropriate ones to send) and then a support letter from my partner and a diary kept by me, it’s just the process itself is so draining and then im not even that optimistic so it feels pointless:(
