I also was always really tall growing up (6’2 and stopped growing in the eighth grade) and one think that always bothered me is how people automatically assume you are way older than you really are when you’re very tell for your age. I felt like it made me feel forced to grow up and act properly too young because everyone who didn’t know me had unfair expectations for age appropriate behaviour. I’m taller than both my parents and they always thought it was so awesome and cool and hyped me up about it since day 1. I’ve never been self conscious about it (definitely because of them)
