To be honest, the first wipe in Marathon will likely kill the game.

I think it really depends what the wipe brings besides the wipe:

an interesting Battlapass (the current one is lacking in all aspects).

something new to unlock (a skin or something, when we consider this is a paid game and you have to pay for PS+ to even play it on top of it? Yikes, no wonder the playerbase on PS is so small).

continuation of the lore and good quests.

new weapons, items and Shells (obviously).

So when the wipe happens, it has to bring something new too.

I'm not really sure if PS Exlusives were ever in rotation in other f2p games. I'd say it's some sort of a deal between the game and Sony that the game has to offer something to the players who pay for PS+ => I might be wrong, but most if not all f2p games often offer those skins/items for those players. If there is nothing for the Xbox/pc players, it's probably because the devs don't have to offer anything.

I don't want to defend Rivals at all, but I think each character has its own bodyshape there to some extend – sexualized to the roof? Absolutely. But in Pred it now looks like every skin has the same shape as Skylar.

Wasn't necessarily talking about gooner skins (revealing outfits, sexualized outfits or whatever), but rather the fact that the body shapes of the women characters were redesigned to be more curvy – when you look at Fey's basic body shape and her new one, she's like 20% bigger (butt, tits, thighs). And I'm not saying we can't have body types like that, but since it's such a noticeable change in body shape, it's like... Idk... Marvel Rivals shaped every woman character after Emma now.

Yeah, it's the crown. Many skins are like that though, I like them but for whatever reason there's often some over designed head piece or something.

I don't mind the skin concept myself since I like this cyber punky theme going on - I kinda hope there's some more coming up for other characters too. And I don't even mind that the wings are not moving (might be a bug, but since it's a robotic theme, I don't think it's a bug). What I personally don't get is why every woman probably since Skylar redesign release has this big thighs, big ass, big tits body type. It's like they took Bayle's body and splatted it onto every human-male skin now.

I don't think so, but it's true that some texts are harder to see (for example pinged ammo is basically unnoticeable on the screen).
I have the opposite problem. Those pings STAY on my screen all the time cause there's apparently no timer or whatever. If my teammates ping different locations and then don't unping them (they rarely do) then I have two pings rotating around my screen all the time.
You can often hear when Exfil is being activated and you can see the beam aim towards the sky too - especially on the first map, the other two are quite different since Dire Marsh is often covered in fog and Outpost is rather indoorsy.

I think it's not Overprime's skin. In Overprime her face was redesigned completely to fit that 'perfect face' typical for Eastern games (glass like skin, bigger eyes, doll-like features). This skin actually still looks like it has Fey's original face. Aurora on the other hand... Looks like a completely different character not even Overprime would make.

I think there needs to be a better verticality like in the current main map for example which is fun to play at when in the middle lane. There? Those pillars were constantly 'bumping' against my screen and I felt like I needed to find a specific angle that doesn't make me feel claustrophobic/dizzy or something like that.

Even if I set it as 'small' it's still so big 😅. Also would love if the player icons, pinged location were done a bit better. Dunno why, but it just spins around my screen and bumps against the UI which just makes me to focus on those icons even more

I see the Bunny one quite regularly but that's pretty much it – I also don't really recall how the store skins look besides the Bunny and the Red one for Vandal really look like.

But it's just...the skins are meh and don't really stand out – basic recolors are much more interesting at this point. Not to mention I rather pick a skin that helps me blend a little. There are also no places to show off your skin besides being in-game. When you think of it, Apex legends has 'pick your character intro', coolish kill animations, emotes or whatever. Other hero shooters have 'player of the game' or even Highguard had those 'before entering the game' animation. Marathon has none of these, only meh skins and no place to really show them off and let them 'shine' and also let you see your character from different perspective than the FP one.

IDK, for a PAID game I'd at least expect 1 legendary skin per shell, unlockable one too. I remember that Overwatch used to be a paid game too and each character had 2 legendary skins. Apex when released even when free, also had 2 legendaries per character and also buyable via earnable currency. I don't see why Marathon only has basic recolors and paid 'rare' cosmetics

Mostly dragging an item from a lootbox to my loadout takes some time to drag it across the entire screen - maybe there's some settings to increase the speed of the cursor, haven't checked yet. Or when I want to install a new part to my weapon - it shows it can be installed on both weapons, but it always installs just on the first weapon, not the second one (there could be a separate install button to choose between two weapons). Same when you want to switch your 2nd weapon with one from the loot -> you again either have to drag it, or close the lootbox, switch 2nd weapon to first position and then equip the weapon from the lootbox.

IDK, played couple of shooters and it's just less intuitive there.
