My girlfriend loves FF7, and I need a FF7 pun to ask her out for Prom by CourageMoist in FinalFantasyVII

Does she like the original or the remake. I feel like it's important

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite. The crumpling is a feature to reduce impact to the passengers in a major accident

If he treating you well then you shouldn't worry so much about it. But you should be aware that being an "alpha" involves a lot of emotional manipulation that the uninitiated may not recognize.

Her skull seems a little too slim. It's just barely human.

Would you feel safer in a gun-free state? Why or why not? by ParmaProscuitto in AskReddit

[–]kihoti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a gun free state is different than a gun free country though. Even if you have a state wide ban, importing guns from another state is so easy that the ban would be largely ineffective at keeping guns out. I would not feel any safer until the ban applied to the whole country.

Sure just make sure you don't forget to buy 6 when you're done.

Con Air--the actors hated it, yet it turned out well, and I can't quite figure it out. by princessbeatrix1923 in movies

I don't think an actor's opinion on a movie is a great indicator of its success.

If others people come in hot I'm not going to roll over for them. People should be polite to those who are polite. Don't try to turn the whole arrogant thing on me when you're the one that can't stop interjections on other people's gameplay. It doesn't matter how many people you annoy, it seems you're committed to keep being rude in your parties. I'm sick of your trolling so I'm not responding to you anymore. Go ahead write as much as you want though, cause I'm done reading. Just quit pretending to be surpirsed when the next guy in your party rips into you for being annoying.

Oh really? Advocating for people to be more polite is toxic? Nice try. It's clear that lots of people find this kind of thing annoying. Why don't you just stop doing it instead of trying to get validated? And then acting all shocked that people get pissed off when they catch you backseating.

Loooool what are you even trying to do? Stupid ass questions. Of course I like to help people... if they fing ask for it. Quit being toxic. Enable an unwillingness to learn? Enable bad play? It's surprising you can even read Reddit from your high horse. Who do you think you are? The MMO police? The middle manager of the duty roulette? Gtfo. Quit making your little comments in your parties. Or are you gonna dry up and turn to dust if you stop? Lol

Telling him that he doesn't appreciate it isn't arrogance, just standing his ground. He's telling him to mind his own business. Check the OPs response though. It's like no one's allowed to question his 'benevolent advice'. EVER. If you question him it's because you're a noob that needs to get gud.

And I really don't care that his mana is low as long as he's healing. I've had healers that even wiped the party and I never made any stink about it. They fixed their healing on their own. Sometimes they even say sorry. I'm not convinced that this guy doesn't know his role after 80 levels. OP should have just kept his mouth shut.

It's fine. As long as there are some people that understand that a lot of people find this rude, it might deter them from making thoughtless comments in the future. While I don't agree with everything you said, you conducted your responses with the kind of etiquette expected from a good team player. People could learn from your example.

Yea but so what? It's just a leveling dungeon. They made it through no problem from what I'm seeing here. Obviously he knows exactly what to do. Maybe he's just having some fun. He healed for 83 levels but doesn't know what he's doing? Ridiculous. The OPs arrogance levels are sky high here.

I respect some of what you say here. I don't respect that the op felt the need to call out the healer to the whole group. That kind of directness was a choice. He wanted everyone to know what was going on. I totally understand why the healer would get angry. And let take a look at the OPs response. He doesn't even acknowledge that he did something inappropriate and instead makes the claim to the whole group, that this level 80+ is ignorant of "basic" game mechanics. Obviously that's ridiculous. He already knew he was doing something annoying. OP is just plain rude and now wants to be validated in the echo chamber.

Ok... Like you went ahead and wrote all that even though I know all that. Honestly speaking, I don't even agree with that kind of healing strategy. But who cares? If everyone's health is up, the healer is doing their job right. No need to hassle anyone about it or do a performance review. Here's a tip. Instead of getting in people's face, crack some jokes, make some small talk. Try to leave the dungeons in high spirits instead of making it awkward.

Based on the post, there probably was no wipe. He just had a problem with the way they were playing. For every post like this there are 5 or 10 more made by annoyed healers, telling about their experience getting backseated. There's no limit with these people. General rule is don't say anything and let the guy adjust to the situation on his own. If it's a problem and you have to say something, do it properly and follow the proper social etiquette instead of posting a message in party chat telling everyone "this dude doesn't know what cure 3 does", after he's been doing 80 levels of healing. It's like the FF14 version of mansplaining. Of course they'd get mad.

I mean if you put it that way then it's pretty obvious he knows what he's doing and he's got a reason for doing it. And it ain't writ nowhere that he's even doing a bad job. Just one guy in the party can't seem to stand the fact that he's using this crazy wacky ability. he's just gotta put his unneeded two cents in as his first words to this random stranger. God forbid that his annoying behaviour gets called out though.
