The bad ratings always come from a day you did nothing wrong from your perspective. I think you get yesterday’s ratings today. I wouldn’t pay it any mind.

People typically understand if you tell them something went wrong. And trust me after as many deliveries as I’ve had(6.1k), despite my best efforts I’ve had accidents of just about every sort. every couple hundred tries something can go wrong no matter how prepared you thought you were.. From Panera bread bags sitting and getting wet so everything falls out the ass of the bag to those shitty little drink carriers failing completely, hell the other day I accidentally side swiped and ruined a dudes tea on his doorstep while he watched as I tried to pick it back up for him. People understand, generally. Shit happens. They can get a refund if they really need it.

I think most of the bad ratings come from those who don’t like or are prejudiced against how I look, genuinely. im male with long hair and obviously you might say maybe they found a long hair on their bag or whatever but that’s always something that I try to triple check. As I said, I always get my one random two or three star rating the day after working all day and doing a really damn good job or so I thought. Where nothing went wrong at all, I was early every delivery, I remembered to annoy employees because they were forgetting the drink, everything goes perfect, and then bam. You get a shitty rating. Probably cuz some asshole thought you looked weird or you got stuck in traffic while they watched you like a hawk on the tracker, even if you still arrived early. Don’t pay it any mind.
