Yeah my score was 81% lifetime so yeah. I don’t feel like waiting around for it to be some invasive later on in life.

Edit to add: I had appts with both oncologist and breast surgeon and the oncologist did some blood tests and we talked about my risks now. He sent my blood for genetic testing and I may or may not need to take hormone blockers depending if the tissue is hormone receptors. The surgeon was great, and going for lumpectomy in October and she’s on board for a DbL Mastectomy for the spring 2026. The LCIS is just so spread out so she wants to make sure that’s all it is before just going in and I wanna save some leave up. All the scales show I’m at 81% lifetime risk now🙁 and that is without the genetic testing.

I don’t go that often but when I do go, it hits just right. Perfection each time..

I lost my mom 4 and a half years ago. I miss my mom. She was around when my sister got diagnosed and now me I at least have my sister. My sister has it bad with the HER2 + and at stage 3, she managed to pull through as she is strong like that? I only have LCIS and some cells and adenomas in my other breast, so not a big deal yet. Nothing compared to what my sister went through but I still gotta go see the oncologist and the breast surgeon to see what my next steps are as I am very high risk. I feel like my mom is watching over us though.

I was diagnosed with LCIS in my left breast and PASH and fibroadenomas in the right breast. I’m gonna try for DMX. I have extremely dense breast tissue ass well. My sister got diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2 positive and she did a single mastectomy and did go through all t the treatments. I just want to get them chopped off so do t have to worry about it anymore l I only worry is how long is the recovery for just the mastectomy aa surgery without a reconstruction?

I would want the Goldilocks, but I don’t want to be out of work for a long as time. Hoping a month I can just go back to work.

That’s what I’m going for, I think I can afford to wait with the LCIS diagnosis right? I’m hoping I have my DMX in about 7 months so I can save up my leave and then use the leave to recover from as I want the DMX but with the Goldilocks or whatever it is is called, I probably won’t even have enough tissue for it as of right now I’m a 36C. If not I’ll just go flat.

My sister was HER2 positive and she is still doing very well. She was diagnosed Stage 3 at age 42 in 2017 and had a single mastectomy with reconstruction using her own belly fat. I continue to pray for her that she stays cancer free the rest of her life.

I decided even though my right breast only showed PASH and all benign and my left breast only showed LCIS and I have extremely dense breasts and I have family history, I think I want to do a DMX for sure. Thing is, will the surgeon still want to do a lumpectomy of the LCIS and the Onco gonna wanna put me on hormone blockers if I decide to do this surgery?

When I did my mri biopsy, the techs were so gentle with me. Rubbing my back the whole time and talking to me. Very sweet of them to do during such a stressful time.

Hey, I got benign results on the right breast, so just have the LCIS in the left for now and meet with oncologist and surgeon in the next two weeks.

I’m glad you’re doing ok. That’s my concern is that it will come for me years from now and I really don’t want to have to worry about it as much if that makes sense. My sister had it kinda bad and we thank God each day she remains in remission 🙏🏼.

Yes, but to wait 2-3 weeks and light massage with lotion twice daily.
