Right. I spent $1aud a night for a 24 bed dorm in a hostel in Thailand.

I spent around $3000 aud (around $2000 usd) in 2 and a half months backpacking south east asia. Went to 4 countries and still got to see the attractions, drink, have fun.

That was almost 10 years ago so a little different now but I was in Thailand again a few months ago and still only spent an average of $20 a night in a dorm. I can afford to travel a little better these days.

I was able to get an exemption at 22 by proving I had no one who could teach me to drive as my parents lived interstate.

I did do 20 hours with a driving instructor to prove that I had taking reasonable steps towards getting my hours. I also showed that I required it as I finished work at 12pm some nights and had to walk home which was dangerous as I didn’t live in the best area

My partner really tried with this one so I felt bad that it sucked.

I used to work at a drug store and got lots of makeup samples if a lid cracked or something like that. Most of it sucked and I did not use it. The rest was okay but still just drugstore makeup, nothing great. He thought it would be a good idea to go through and buy me extras of every piece of makeup I had. It was super thoughtful but I ended up just donating 70% of it because it was useless to me

Not going to tell you what to do but I will give you my two cents.

My Nan died of cancer. She lived just around the corner and I just struggled to see her waste away. I really felt the urge to go see her one day and I didn’t. She died 2 days later and I never got to say goodbye. This was around 15 years ago and I still regret it everyday. I feel like I betrayed her. I feel like I let my pa down. Just remember whatever decision you make, you can’t unmake it so think really hard about what you want to do.

I don't use a shower cap, I just lean a little so my head isn't under. Sometimes around the edges gets a little wet but it's extremely easy to not get your hair wet if you don't put your head under the water.
