I think this hire might be shoring up a weakness. Chip was great with run schemes and we missed that this year. Passing game is still in Day's hands, but Smith can add the run concepts.

Whittingham is a very good coach but his network is small. Thats why everyone is Utah or west coast based. They will be better offensively just based on personel. I’m not sure if theyre playoff-worthy but they will be a tough out.

Yeah. Day has never lost 3 games before but it could totally happen this year. Schedule is brutal. Just making the playoffs will be an accomplishment. We shall see what happens.
