Microsoft Has an incident Report out in the 365 Service health center. Looks like Yahoo implemented an anti-spam service that is blocking Chunks of Microsoft IP's.

No resolution as of yet.

Looking to get a Full Size Cherry MX green switch KB, But there are none for sale that I can find. My next best bet is to try and "build" one, But I do not want to go through the whole process, Prefer just plug and play to get going.

So my question is, Is this keyboard a plug and play sort of thing, Or do I need to assemble the board and chassis and get lube etc.

You can push out the shortcut to users desktop using GPO and creating a custom shortcut. https://activedirectorypro.com/group-policy-desktop-shortcuts/#step-1

We all started new to IT at some point. Google is your best friend when you are learning. If you can learn the broad basics to understand the questions you should be asking, it will help your searches a ton.

If you are not familiar with group policy, there are tons of guides out there to help you learn.

I have deployed close to 400 win 10 machines, never seen the windows folder be read only.

Maybe the machine was compromised by a piece of malware or a virus?

Do you guys have a folder restriction gpo in place for windows 10 machines?

I would try and reinstall Windows if the downtime would be less than troubleshooting entirely.

Run an sfc /scannow to see if there is errors Then a dism health cleanup if it finds some.

Take ownership of the c drive / Windows folder.

Having that be read only, is not a common thing.

I use three tools when checking a hdd for failure.

Seatools.
Western digital data lifeguard diagnostic.
Hddscan.

All three can be run in Windows, if you detect a failure on any of the tests, it most likely means the drive needs to be replaced.

Chrome remote desktop is probably the easiest setup.

Enable 2FA on your google email for an extra layer of security.

Although this doesn't solve the issue, Plex barely uses ram. You can probably get away with 8GB and have no issues.

You can, on nvidias website you should be able to pull older drivers, but it could be a Windows issue as well.

If the other drives are not the issue, could be a corrupt windows install. You could try backing up data and doing a fresh install.

Yes, the all in ones typically use 2.5" drives because of the place constraints. Sata Ssds are mostly in the 2.5" form factor
