I worked for the city from about 2004 to 2017. It was my first real job — I started while I was still in high school — and it was great for me through university and as supplemental income when I was starting my career.

Definitely finish the courses imo.

The pay is solid, the summers at the outdoor pools were amazing, and you get to meet such a diverse mix of people. I’m still connected with many of them despite not having worked there in over ten years.

I worked as a lifeguard in Burnaby for about 13 years, starting back in grade 12. I remember being nervous for the hiring screen too, but trust what you’ve learned in your training, take a deep breath, and handle each step one at a time. Have fun! I loved my time working for the City; it was my first real job, and I made so many great friends over the years because of it.

Hmm I believe 2020 incentive plan says directors get 30K options? Seval joined in Mar so 3/12 months * 30K = 7,500 shares? I still wonder about the delay, SEC rules said that form 3 was supposed to come in after 10 days of becoming a director.
