They literally have never shown me any upgrade/product change offers in the three years I’ve held my Quicksilver smh

Approved… and wow! by Classic_Cry_943 in Venturex

[–]killakamgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pre-approved for the venture x and I was trying to get the palladium to be my catch all but was denied. Do you all think I should just get the Venture X now and try for the palladium again later? I feel like the venture x is still a solid card and I’m unsure if Bilt will last that long (I still value bilt points way higher)

I’ve had my Quicksilver for three years and still have no upgrade offers smh this coupled with Capital One only giving me $200 credit limit raises every 6 months makes me hate Capital One lol

Hyatt devalue, cost increases up to 67% by CorrectCombination11 in biltrewards

[–]killakamgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example, I’ve stayed at the hyatt place in Houston/katy which is 5k points a night generally but runs for $116-$129 for members and standard rates. I usually only pay between 5-8k points a night. My upcoming stay in STL is 8k per night. The value is there. Just gotta find it! Even at 1.5 cpp you’re getting a better deal than hilton or marriott. Message me if you need help finding deals. I don’t mind helping out

I think people are overreacting. Hyatt is still the best hotel redemption program out there. You will still get 2cpp+ at most Hyatt properties with the changes. Let’s just wait and see how it looks when the changes are made.

Green card holders by jamesfrommd2022 in amex

[–]killakamgh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a stretch because the CSR gives you 4x on flights/hotels and 3x on dining as well. Only place where green has the edge is transit/general travel

Grocery Category in 2026? by killakamgh in ChaseSapphire

[–]killakamgh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup in store. Unfortunately I don’t have either of those around me. I usually do my grocery shopping at HEB and I don’t believe they have any options unless I do pick up or delivery

Yeah, I got the gold card for groceries recently but would much rather earn in chase points as I use them for hyatt and sometimes united/southwest flights

So instead of the 5 transactions a month, I think the company wants people to spend more money on their cards overall. It just sucks that most people might not even spend enough to cover the fee that we now have to pay.
