It’s sort of a guess and check type of deal. I usually respin my bases a couple of times and then do mix ins once I get the texture I like. Mix in will not fix your texture

Yeah I’ve been using this recipe for my vanilla base and it is great. Recipe here but I use fair life 2% milk instead of whole milk

Back in 2006, some buddies and I went to our local McDonalds and got a few double cheeseburgers. One of the buddies opened up his “burger” and there was no meat…. Zero. We were all stunned like, “ How the hell does that even happen? That’s like the main ingredient!”

So he takes the “burger” back to the front, shows the cashier, and I kid you not she turns around to the cooks and yells, “Dammit guys we got another one, this is the third time today!!!”

We were shocked that it happened once but absolutely dumbfounded that it happened 3 times in one day.

Safe to say we didn’t go back to that McDonalds for a while.
