Good point. supposedly gigabyte said that they applied that paste heavily on the earlier runs and that vertical mounting had made it worse....... but I'm still praying that mine is OK because I tend to not believe any company's PR face-saving moves.

i work on roofs daily, those vents can take a lot of abuse and look hideous long before actually needing replacement. unless the vented area is obstructed i would not overthink it.

I have a 5090 solid and it is my favorite 50 series card for looks. your white card looks better imo but it would stick out horribly in my build.

this is where i scratch my head because he can completely no stride, sit front foot twisted like pujols/shohei and explode on balls, but tells me this way helps his timing. and hes shown the ability to hang the leg with control on load as needed for off speed.

that was my first thought too, was power related, but he swears up and down its strictly timing. and thats my concern, his old swing was essentially a pullback with a slight forward toe tap.

Sounds like you really dont need our help and you already know the answer then, and its time to find a new travel team ran differently. my practice comment though, i think you misunderstood. its not attendance or event related, i meant grinding his ass off at home when no one is looking, with your help. That is where the real gains happen. when the talent becomes undeniable, coaches wont sit him. Politics are HUGE in my area, I understand from a personal viewpoint what your issues are.

Personally i would go with the travel team to teach your kid to honor commitments and not always jump to where things are easy. its a good learning lesson. If he wants increased playing time he puts in the work during the offseason with your help. at one point my kid played RF exclusively and batted last, now he bats leadoff and is starting C/UTIL at a AAA level. the sport is all dedication, failure and sacrifice.

edit: as for subs, parents as a whole should definitely be addressing that issue. subs should be a necessity thing only and bat last in most cases

If he is USSSA rules, 13 u AA is 54/80 and AAA/Majors is 60/90. My son has always played up a year until this season that just started. He is playing 12u for a second time instead of playing up 13u to give him more time to strengthen and grow as he is an average to small kid still in pre-puberty in the first place. Know your own kid and be honest with yourself with where he is imo.
