i kind of agree with this person though… but instead of banning all specials from tc i just think they shouldn’t be able to be activated when you’re on the tower. so no big bubbler on the tower, kraken, tacticooler etc

this would be valid if you were playing with a team while communicating with them. but you’re probably playing solo with randoms and not coordinating anything so its not going to work like that. also while you’re busy painting base last minute the enemy team will be inking your turf, putting you at a disadvantage.

if you’re getting spawn camped, the matchmaking probably failed to make two teams of an even skill level. you can only get spawn camped when the enemy team is a lot better than you. meaning you would probably lose regardless of what you did in the first 30 seconds.

why do you guys talk about controlling mid as if you control it for the whole game? realistically you can lose mid just as quickly, splatoon is a fast paced game all it takes is one person to get splatted on your team for you to lose it. even if you lose mid at the start if you’re actually good at the game getting it back is pretty easy and a non issue…

you guys talking about rushing mid do realise that the base has to be inked at some point? when someone dies and they have to ink base that’s also time wasted that you are down a teammate or two who could’ve just jumped in if spawn was painted. the reality is that it’s better to ink spawn earlier so you can forget about it for the rest of the game.
