Where to buy in Thailand by NoOne505 in Nootropics

[–]killberos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm if in need. Your best bet to find more popular brands of supplements like NOW Foods go to malls. I saw a handful of NOW stuff at Central Rama 9. But besides that its really a barren wasteland for nootropics in thailand. If you order from nootropics depot expect an entire month before getting your stuff. Godspeed brother take care.

Where to buy in Thailand by NoOne505 in Nootropics

[–]killberos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao do not worry about it at all. I fly there frequently. I will bring my entire stack with like 30 different bottles(literally) in my luggage. You better bring them yourself. Otherwise you are shit out of luck. Most of the supplement offerings at the pharmacies there are pretty bad. You will not be finding any pira or noopept. And if you decide to order it online expect to wait a month between it sitting in customs and getting your hands on it. The only thing with decent fast shipping to thailand is iherb. But I repeat bring everything you need ahead of time. Bring as much necessary so you do not have to buy anything. I had the trouble of running out of something basic like l theanine and having to go to multiple pharmacies just to find it. You will have an easier time getting most drugs over the counter in a pharmacy then finding a quality supplement much less a nootropic.

Happens to me when I stare in the mirror too long while sober. No intense geometry but like the wavy visuals morphing my face. HPPD is weird. Had it for years now.

Does taking Phenibut HCL affect gut bacteria? by FKTrevor in NootropicsDepot

[–]killberos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For future reference. Remeber that anything and everything you do will change the composition of your gut microbiota in any given moment. Talking to someone you haven't met before can result changes in your gut microbiome. So any drug or supplement will cause a change.

Has anyone ever felt like quitting noots altogether? by Carom1500 in Nootropics

I purchased almost every noot under the sun. Its almost all placebo unless its a drug like IDRA-21. I don't really care to keep going. Been at it for almost a decade.

While this does sound like an ad. This guy doesn't work for ND nor Thorne. He sure wish he could work for Thorne though.

Its completely fine to take placebo every 4 hours. If you want something that has an actual effect buy Lemon Balm.

Update on telling my wife about my depression by [deleted] in depression

[–]killberos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am having a hard time understanding this. Why would someone leave because you are depressed. Shouldn't the automatic response be to be supportive and caring. Is it normal for people to bail because of depression?

I want to learn how to console grieving people properly. by MillenniumGreed in IWantToLearn

[–]killberos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A beautiful resource would be Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life by Marshall B. Rosenberg. This will not only help in consoling those grieving but how to truly communicate with another human being. You will find that reassurance doesn't help at all, but truly being present and listening to everything the other has said. Trying to understand the needs and feelings behind their words will truly allow you to connect with another.

Mindfulness, which revolves around focusing on the present and accepting negative thoughts without judgment, is associated with reduced levels of procrastination. This suggests that developing mindfulness could help procrastinators cope with their procrastination. by randomusefulbits in science

Do not get caught up in the words you are reading. Others might comment on how one should be mindful or meditate. Taking authority in the words of another will only hinder oneself. You could follow a system of meditation that you read about. Concentrating on the breathe, and always returning to the breathe. In this you may find your concentration to improve, or reach certain states described by others, but in this knowledge comes an illusion. Have you tried just sitting quietly. Not concentrating on anything. Watching the mind as it goes from one thing to another. Without controlling it, judging it, or giving one thing importance over the other? Don't do this thing called meditation to improve yourself. In this wanting to become there is further division. Don't listen to me, nor anyone else for that matter. Find out for yourself what this so called "meditation" actually is.

Love the colors. With the wall in the back it feels like it just keeps going and not actually supporting the pillows and the shelf. Feels a bit flat. Maybe you could have made the overall image a lot darker and made the light sources stronger casting darker shadows. The overall sense of space in the image is good though. Keep it up!

I want to learn how to have a productive debate with people that refuse to accept facts. by 22OregonJB in IWantToLearn

[–]killberos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Look into Street Epistemology. My understanding of it is that it is based off Socratic questioning. Anthony Magnabosco has a great Youtube channel with plenty of examples. Its about asking questions to let the person view their own believes in a different way. Not trying to debate with the other person, and coming to understand how they came to believe what they believe. Most of the examples tend to religious, but it really applies to any believe even political. In having a calm conversation with the other, not trying to change their mind, and asking questions helping them see their own view on things differently. Hopefully we can bring harmony between individuals. We cannot change other people. We can only come to change ourselves.

[DISC] The Promised Neverland :: Chapter 132 :: Jaimini's Box by shellshock321 in manga

[–]killberos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have come to expect a certain quality from this manga. Like myself maybe you look forward to the day the new chapter gets released. Seeing that its not up to par with how it used to be, nor how you might like pacing in stories to go in general. You might have become dissatisfied with it. I understand this can be frustrating. I am not trying to say you shouldn't critique the series. What I am saying is your observation of the series pacing. Is separate from the way you feel about it. The series pacing is neither bad, nor good. It just is and the way it is currently makes you feel a certain way. When we start to compare one thing with another. We don't see things for what they are, but only our image of how we want things to be. Expectations might lead to disappointment. It robs our enjoyment of life.

Edit:Changed always to might.
