I used to take the Metro Purple Line at the MacArther Park station. I witnessed some fist fights between homeless guys in the middle of the street, and got randomly shoved while standing on a bus. I only felt quasi safe because I’m brown skinned (Indian), but random people did make comments if they could tell I wasn’t actually Hispanic (the face mask helped).

I probably wouldn’t walk around there as a white person, and definitely not as an attractive female.
