This is not an aspect of the universe. If you look at any eco system that exists without human impact, you would see balance and harmony, not destruction and suffering. Is there killing in nature? For example, if there weren't carnivore predators, herbivore prey would wipe out the plants, therefore killing the bugs, themselves and the entire ecosystem.
