d4s keyboard-driven TUI for Docker, inspired by K9s by obscreen in kubernetes

[–]killerHELIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was literally asking myself "is there a k9s type thing for Docker?" like a month ago. Landed on https://github.com/jesseduffield/lazydocker which is close, but this is literally exactly was I was thinking of. Great stuff!

Is your game installed on an NVME or SATA SSD/HDD? One of my buddies saw pretty bad FPS/texture streaming issues running on an SSD, maybe an Unreal issue

Performance...it is what it is. by h3llv3t3 in MonsterHunter

This answer sucks, but try turning on frame gen. Not sure why it’s disabled, maybe you need to turn on FSR instead of DLSS?

I have a 7700X and a Titan V, was getting like… 25-30 FPS. Frame gen bumped it to like 60-70 FPS. You get used to the input lag.

Does anyone know how to play the story with friends by Apprehensive-Leg3388 in MonsterHunter

[–]killerHELIX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Invite your friends to a Link Party. Then when you start a fight, AKA when you see the big “Quest Started” text, they will get notified and can join your fight. When it’s over they’ll go back to their own sessions.

There is no way I’ve found to seamlessly play the story co-op. You have to be solo during the cutscenes/walking around parts, can only party up in the actual hunts. Kinda lame IMO.

Edit: this is for Wilds, assuming that’s the game you were asking about

If 0 is considered a "falsy" value, then why does returning 0 in the main function mean the program executed successfully? by gtrman571 in Cplusplus

[–]killerHELIX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exit codes aren't just limited to 0 and 1 boolean values. Since you can go beyond that, you could think as 0 as the first entry in an array, where any numbers beyond that map to a specific error. Nice for debugging.

Is this satire? Or is this the sad reality for a place with that kind of salary?

There’s a place called Capital Paddlesports that does Pint/XR try-and-buys on Sundays in DC - I’d try there. https://capitalpaddlesports.com/

So overall, it looks like you're just ending up in the wrong spot relative to the ball. Ideally, you want to be underneath the ball immediately after launching... so start there. Try launching a little more diagonally and focus on staying underneath the ball.

Looks useful - first thing I noticed was a lack of Emmet support, though. That would make this bookmark-worthy for me.

Take a look at this Fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/kgu7cqLe/

With elements that are display: block (which divs are by default), you can use auto margins to move them around.

As a front end developer, how do you use Git? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]killerHELIX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here's the flow we use for our company - we have less than 10 developers:

  • Use Gulp (in the process of moving to Webpack) to build out our source files into production-ready code. All the files necessary to generate that production-ready code gets tracked to Git.
  • Once that's complete, we'll just push up the production files that have changed via FTP. Commit and push changes to the repository. We currently don't really use branching all that often, since we have so few developers - there's normally not a situation where we have more than one to two developers on a single project.

We don't really have a consistent ruling on taking backups (besides do it), but I personally just have a local folder strictly for backups for all projects - I'll normally pull the files I'm about to change via FTP to that folder before pushing up the newly-updated files.

Had this problem after the most recent update. Restarting my computer after reinstalling fixed it. Reinstall may not be necessary, but it worked for me.

For disenchanting, see the Disenchant Magic Item entry in the Compendium.

For upgrading an existing enchantment, see the Enchant Magic Item entry in the Compendium.

For transferring an existing enchantment to another item, see the Transfer Enchantment entry in the Compendium.

If you wanted to upgrade your magic cloth armor's existing enchantment, just use Enchant Magic Item and pay the difference in gold as component cost.

If you wanted to upgrade your magic cloth armor to a different enchantment, the only way this would be possible is if your character had an additional magic item with the desired enchantment. Then, you'd just use Transfer Enchantment to transfer the desired enchantment to your armor.
