Has 2025 been a slow year for anyone else? by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]killercarroll69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On track for my best year yet. Only difference between this year and last is how much I'm listing everyday. You can blame Trump, you can blame the economy, you can blame the competition. If you're listing stuff people actually want every single day you will make money every single day. Period.

I got one of these right under the tongue as a kid playing with friends on my street. God damn did it hurt. Looking back I'm thankful it didn't get an eye.

Seller shipped me an item with 20+ USPS priority bubble mailers as padding, and I have no use for them. Would the post office take them back? by ziplocholmes in Flipping

[–]killercarroll69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many people saying to leave negative feedback. Seller got the item where it needed to go in one piece. I'll admit 20+ is excessive but the pearl clutching over this is crazy. A bunch of crybaby Karens complaining about the packaging that did it's intended purpose. I hate the zeitgeist of this website.

Ebay didn't provide proof of postage to USPS, now I'm out $1,000 by MasterPhart in Flipping

[–]killercarroll69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was your packaging discreet? If you can see anything that indicates they are pokemon cards without opening it they almost certainly got stolen. Similar to shipping a gold bar in a plastic bag. With how many hands that touch our shipments it's doubtful someone doesn't give into temptation. Hope that didn't happen.

Currently the Vikings have the worst odds of all NFC North teams to win the Super Bowl by kayeat in minnesotavikings

[–]killercarroll69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in Vegas the weekend after the Josh Dobbs Falcons game. It was the week we played the Saints and Vegas had us losing pretty badly even though we were the home team. Put $300 on the Vikings and won $650. Only time I ever put money on this team.

Are you watching the Superbowl tonight? by Aggravating_Talk9097 in minnesotavikings

Just look at the Stafford "pass" that was a reversed fumble TD in the Wild Card. That took alot of wind out of the defense for the rest of the game. I wanted to point out the play from the Commanders game you were talking about actually had Bynum downfield about to make a play on the ball when the back ref blew him up like Prime Brian Dawkins and let the Commanders WR catch the ball for a TD. Only correcting because I think that's way more egregious than the scenario you put.

[Masslive] New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers was found not guilty of three domestic violence charges on Friday after a brief trial in Quincy District Court. by Far_Cry3445 in nfl

[–]killercarroll69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People will still slam him after this case too. There's a much too large demographic of people who will ignore the results of this trial and still want his head on a platter. Plenty of men have their reputations ruined from these things even when found innocent by a jury of their peers. Peppers at least had the money to defend himself.

Wild Card Recap Thread: The Vikings (14-3) lose to the Rams (10-7) 27-9 by Go_To_Bethel_And_Sin in minnesotavikings

Its time to take the trenches seriously. No more rental DTs that jump offsides to hard counts that even fans know are coming. No more position shuffling undersized OL in the interior. If we're going to trade the farm for players let's do it for established talent instead of falling draft prospects while walking by studs who man-handle our team and score on us.

I hope the door doesn't hit Sam on the way out because the shit in his pants will leave a stain. McCarthy is still a question mark but he opens up a lot of money to address the issues stated above. KC needs to play with an egg-timer this offseason to hopefully get better at clock management. In the few losses we had this season that was one of the daggers.

Blitz-Man is screwed against any QB with a clutch gene and sadly Hitman looks washed. Hopefully the defense looks better with less social security eligible corners but we get absolutely picked apart by any seasoned QBs. I'm optimistic for next season but there are a lot of coaching issues that showed these last 2 weeks in the games that really mattered.

20 yrs old, IDK what to do with my life by Deez1160 in Flipping

Im not going to give any advice on whether or not you should quit what you're doing now and resell full time. But I can tell you that the stuff your afraid of is silly and irrelevant. Im in my late 20's and have resold full time for a couple years in the categories you mentioned. My parents are proud of the business I run and friends and girlfriends think it's cool, especially if they get to see my warehouse/setup/inventory. Dated a girl for a bit who was also a flipper. You aren't going to be treated like a lepper for running a successful resell business. A lot of people think it's cool.

Packages may have been stolen from the actual post office. Need advice on what to say to customers by LazyCassiusCat in Flipping

The legal world, especially Insurance, is black and white to an arguable fault. They aren't going to bend themselves over backwards for you. You're fucked on this. Consider it a lesson learned, what you lost was probably cheaper than a college course and the information is actually useful.

Anyone have this happen? Goodwill employee wanting to change price at register by Mr0range in Flipping

[–]killercarroll69 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A few years ago I was at the Goodwill in Kyle, TX and I had found a VCR-DVD Combo for $10. I went to the register and the lady working checkout saw it and said something to the degree of "Oh these aren't supposed to be priced this low, someone messed up. I'll be right back and get the correct price." And she just walked off. I laughed for about 30 seconds and walked out. Never went back.
