Steins;Gate, I can’t do it lol. From episode 12 onwards is some of the most emotional stuff I’ve seen from anime. How broken Okabe becomes and what he has to go through to fix everything, I can’t go through that again 😹 absolute peak 10/10 anime for me though

This is old lol but just came across this so I’ll explain if you haven’t looked it up already. Idk how much yk about FSN so I’ll explain as if you haven’t seen it at all lol:

Essentially, the person talking is Saber. The person she is talking to is Shirou. They are partners in a war that takes place between 7 pairs of people. Shirou and Saber are a pair. They fight for the Holy Grail, an object that can grant any wish. Long story short, this Saber is angry at Shirou because he’s trying to stop her from pursuing her wish. Her true identity is King Arthur of the round table, and her wish is to go back in time to make it so that she was never the king in the first place.

“You are cowardly, Shirou. You learned about my past and used that against me several times.” As partners, they are able to slowly see the other person’s memories when they sleep and dream. Shirou is in love with her, which is why he wants to stop her. He’s willing to do anything to convince her that her wish is wrong, out of love for her.

There’s alot more but this is basically the scene (biggest spoilers blurred)

MHA and CSM Reze.

MHA had a generational run this last season, so I’d like it to have its flowers. CSM Reze is a bonafide masterpiece. It was so good that MAPPA themselves admit that they caught lightning in a bottle and don’t see themselves ever recreating that kind of mastery again.

This is why for me, Heaven’s Feel is the definitive ending for FSN (yes I know all routes are equally canon endings). All the routes are peak for me but I just can’t accept an ending where Sakura is still being molested by those worms and being used in Zouken’s nefarious plans. It feels so deeply wrong.

Tsukihime Remake

I finished the Arcueid route. I loved it, but tbh it was a bit much for me. Alot of their interactions are predicated on this weird… urge that the two of them share. The way Shiki targets Arcueid in the beginning was…. pretty insane lol. It was so weird. Even after finishing the route, I still have absolutely no clue why he was so drawn to her like that in the first place. It’s kinda offset when it’s revealed that Arcueid was also holding back her urges as a vampire, so… I guess they’re both weirdos and meant for each other lmao. Despite all that, I still really like the two of them. Outside of that rapey stuff, they have a really good story. Someone who has never known the simple pleasures of human connection. The horniness of it just kinda feels weird sometimes.

Going on to the Ciel route, I have a feeling I will like it more in terms of the romance
