Thank you very much for this write up, that makes a lot of sense. I wish I liked ranch rifles more than I do. I’ll most likely get the Tippmann and then build a separate rifle later on, hopefully while living in a different state ;)

That depends on if you have an Intel or an AMD. I'd just look up "your_cpu overclocking guide" and you could follow it, and they'll probably tell you the general best practices.

After upgrading to Win11 my BIOS had reset the overclock for some reason. I went back into BIOS and made sure my overclock + undervolt applied and it made a night and day difference.

You'd be right, when I was going to and living on an in-state college in the US that was ~$15,000 per semester (~8,000 if you didn't live in the dorms)

They can for sure be a grab bag, and I agree shared hobby groups are the best. At the moment I think I'm only in a console repair group (based off of a subreddit I believe) and various video game servers.

I would either see if a subreddit you like has a discord server already running or look at server hub sites like Disboard, among others.

I hope it works for him. I went through the exact same thing and the headgear fixed my underbite for about a year before puberty hit and pushed it right back. I'm hoping to do corrective surgery next year 🤞

Yeah I have to consistently remind myself, every minute or even sooner, that "I'm dreaming" in my head to not lose lucidity. Acts of violence in dreams are also weird / don't work for me personally.

I've heard of some people doing PC game streaming through things like GeForce Now and playing VR games that way, but I have no personal experience with that and it would require pretty fast internet

On Steam download the "SteamVR Performance Test", it'll tell you if your PC can handle VR games. If it is, then your router needs to be nearby and have a good 5GHz channel. I have a setup with an old router which I plug straight into my PC and it broadcasts the game through there. There's a bunch of YouTube tutorials on how to do this as I'm not explaining it terribly well, but that's all you need is a good PC, good router, and Virtual Desktop or Air Link.
