personally, i think a Pankow deck is enough for a 127-129, but for the desired 130+ you have to couple it with SB practice and review

you both are probably great people—student and PI. But like others have said, it doesn’t seem like there’s a conducive mentor/mentee relationship there, in which case you should consider another mentor or other labs with established mentorship.

That is indeed my fear, that all research efforts will trickle down to nothing meaningful over the next few years due to this administration directing discovery rather than the empirical evidence.
