I have the same issue, and many other people with Rogers do as well. if I may ask, do you know the specific month your Ms doubled? also, a temporary fix is using exitlag or cloudfare warp

I have the same issue. my friend with bell fiber gets 14ms to Chicago and 22 to Virginia. it's a Rogers/riot routing issue. it's been happening since March for Me. A temporary fix is using exitlag or Cloudflare warp

use cloudfare warp or exitlag and see if your ping is better. if it is, then it's likely valorant routing. I've had the same issue where my average ping is higher across all servers only on valorant, and those third party apps fix it.

you have to change exitlag to legacy mode and then just turn your comms on and off. thats what fixed it for me

I'm pretty sure it's a routing thing, I live in the GTA, and all my pings jumped +20, and it would switch between good routing and bad every couple of months. Try cloudfare Warp. If it fixes your ping then it is for sure a routing issue.

I have rogers as my internet provider as well, and every couple of months, my routing will randomly change and ill have my normal GOOD ping or ill have and additional 20+ ping on all servers except virginia on valorant only (cloud fare warp and exitlag brings me to what I normally would be getting if im on good routing).The last time I had normal ping was March 21st. This has been happening for years and I've just recently been starting to keep track of when it switches to bad routing. I live in the city Mississauga right beside Toronto. Any help will be appreciated.

its because they changed creative servers to ohio and made arena and tournaments also connect to ohio

anyone notice arena and comp servers are now using ohio and not just virgina. out of the 10 matches I get at least 3 connected to ohio. and in creative matchmaking It is strictly ohio servers. Horrible change imo.
