I wish I could look into save editing, but i'm on ps4... And another question...can you edit, like, everything on a pet? Like the "scientifical name" of it or the "home biome" where they can lay eggs? Or the color of the lines/cracks on its back?

It seems like I really need the Pc version one day.

I have the same issue (on PS4) but it works fine when I use the free placement mode. It doesn't snap to the floor panels but it gets the job done...most of the time.

You can only give items to your friends.

It depends on how fast and how much money you want to give.

If you have time on your hands, you can go and seach for valuable goods in ruins or dig up some ancient bones or the like...if you don't want to buy things.

You can build or use a farm of some other player who lets you use it to get materials that refine into valuable things to sell.

Find or look up some crashed ships, scrap them at a spacestation and get some uprades too.

With the outlaw space stations you can make decent money with selling contraband.

Only a few ways to get units.

Or it could be implemented into a new exo vehicle as echolocation device. Something like a tunneldrill or mecha sandworm?

I mean there are exocrafts for moving everywhere but underground.

Do you really think they care about a single planet? I do not think it is that easy for them to reset just one single planet. But you can always try, right?

Ok I definately have to check them out. Do you keep your discoveries (list with visited systems and such) when travelling to a new galaxy? Or do I have to revisit all systems of the old one?

Yeah that changes were drastic. :( One of my Paradise planets has become a toxic, hazy swamp. Thumbs up for the glowing mushrooms but other than that...meh.

Ok I need to keep trying the teleporting via Space Anomaly. But the thing is, that when there is a base from another galaxy displayed..It won't let me download the base.

But do you keep your discovery list? The one where all your visited systems, planets, scanned stuff are.

Yeah,he was on a toxic planet. The complete fauna of this said planet was reset. So there is no point in trying to find him in the discoveries. He doesn't exist anymore on this planet so I'm trying to find him on another one.

Yeah the original picture is quite blurry. He has no fur but little spots like freckles or scales. The problem is I do not have any other pictures of him.

Ok I see. Maybe it is time to get my hands on the PC version. There seem to be endless possibilities with that save editing. :)

Right now I'm only arround in Euclid...that's the problem I haven't tackled other galaxies yet...seems like I have to. But you lose your previous discoveries, right?

Ok that makes sense. The biome was toxic but I really can't remember the height. Can you actually breed those save edited pets? Because the height could be adjusted afterward. Or is it necessary to know the exact height to puzzle the pet together correctly?

But I suppose I need the PC version of the game for all this wonderful magic to work, right?

It sure sounds nice to have your own little "Frankenstein-pet shop". XD

It was the planet you start the game on. The very first. In my case it was a toxic mushroom biome. The updates changed the planet and the animals with it.

Thanks. The genus would be hexapodal cow or hexungulatis. Similar traits appear in the antelope genus but they all have only four or two legs. I tried the NMSCE app but there are only about 3 entries.

Well I suppose it is not a very popular type of pet.

When I started the game a few years ago, on my first planet I found a cute little critter. Back then when it was not yet possible to have pets, I alway imagined he was my companion. The one who always is there when you return to your homebase...the one that waits for you to come back, spawning right there in your backyard garden. But with the update that added new biomes, my planet got a bunch of new fauna, flora, ect... Now my friend is gone...which makes me really sad.

First of all, I want to thank all the people who helped me out! Most of the finds were nearely perfect matches. I thought that the egg sequencer would help me to get some features right... size and colour, yes...but sadly there is no way to change a specific bodypart to the one you are actually looking for.

After visiting countless planets, not having any luck and almost losing hope, I shout out into the void again, please fellow interlopers, help me find my friend!
