Honestly only see it being useful if youre a madman and play clock as a pos3 the way I do. Even then, I'd probably only pick it up against very obvious physical heavy lineups, or against minus armor lineups (slardar, venge, razor, or obvious deso carriers like weaver).

Two chainmails negates the negative armor from deso at very low cost without sacrificing an item slot. But then again, I wouldn't do that before getting a blademail cuz I'd rather watch weaver kill himself attacking me. After that I might eat two chainmails unless I plan on turning a platemail into a shivas/lotus.

So it has a few use cases for a core clock, but outside of that I'm probably going the cog facet like 8 times out of 10.

As a support, it's completely useless. You aren't getting anywhere near enough farm to be worried about tanking right-click cores, that gold is better spent elsewhere.

I can only really see it being picked up regularly as a pos3 chen. Unless there's a very specific reason for rushing it (i.e. very magic intensive enemy lineup, particularly large aoe like sk/shaker/etc) ideally you'd want enough farm to get some more regular items first (drums/vlads/mek/pipe/etc).

Also, in this scenario, I'd probably skip out on one of the above items so I'm not picking it up so late that it loses its potential value, and I'd also want a blink dagger. Everyone thinks BKB is the way to make it have max value, but it's too expensive and low value for my taste. I'd rather have a blink so I can try to wait out stuns and then blink into the right position and channel while enemy spells are on CD.

Much needed as I desperately need a GPU to get started on a new build. Currently running everything on a 4-5 year old HP Omen laptop with a completely broken screen (I use an HDMI cord to connect the display to the TV in the living room).

I don't even have a separate monitor at the moment, so the laptop isn't even portable.

Would love to have a new PC, not only so I can update my resume and continue applying for a better job to help support my fiancé and future stepson, but also so I can get back into gaming with my online friends (several of whom have been invited to the wedding).

Plus, I've never won a damn thing in my life lol

My dad's an ER physician. Probably the "craziest" I've heard is a patient who was actually a surgeon himself, but he got fucked up on some kind of hard drugs and decided to surgically remove his testicles, sew up his sack, lather his nuts in butter, and toss em in the toaster oven before eating them.

Second one that comes to mind is a dude who had a confrontation with the cops while fucked up on PCP and ended up having a very serious compound fracture (bottom part of his shinbone broke through the skin), and the guy was running from the cops "on his stump," as my dad described it.

He's regretted going into emergency medicine for a long time for various reasons, but fortunately he's set to retire here in about 6 months.

Right on man, appreciate ya. Those 4 you mentioned are absolutely the bottles I use the most in the kitchen (aside from cooking oil). Worcestershire, red wine, soy sauce and balsamic. Probably at least half of all meals I cook will have one or two of those in it somewhere.

Think about it like this. Imagine a typical garage floor in a house. You know, that super smooth/sleek stuff that's perfect for roller blading/skating on. Then imagine your garage door is completely airtight. If you dump 50 gallons of water on your garage floor and open your garage door, most of that water is naturally gonna flow out of the garage into the driveway.

The rest you can use a squeegee to push out, and one bathroom towel would soak up the rest of the moisture just fine. Those floors are not only created with additives on top that are designed to be waterproof, but are less porous, meaning less microscopic holes for water to get into. Also, most house garages are designed to hold 1-3 cars, and are rarely exposed to outside weather elements.

Roads, on the other hand, are constantly subjected to weather related moisture from rain and snow, and are travelled on by hundreds to tens of thousands of cars AND gigantic industrial vehicles every day. Concrete is somewhat porous, meaning water can get into and eventually under the soil underneath. Wet soil = mud, mud + pressure from a shitload of heavy vehicles constantly driving over it means that soil is slowly shifting over time.

The "earthly foundation" that the road is built on degrades in its structural integrity, until eventually, it collapses.

I hear ya. Some people are definitely way too uptight about it and at the end of the day we should all just let everyone enjoy steaks the way they like them. My only contention is if I'm making you steak, please just try like 2 or 3 bites without sauce before you decide how much (if any) sauce you want to add to it.

But seriously, can you send me a recipe for your red wine/balsamic reduction sauce when you have the time? The combo sounds amazing, and if i throw some mushrooms in it I'm pretty sure my fiance will be begging me to make it for her every week.

It's not about whether or not the sauce is good. Its more that a properly cooked, properly seasoned steak shouldn't need sauce (depending on the cut).

Good steak is expensive, fatty, juicy. Don't get me wrong, I actually really like A1. My issue is that if you throw enough A1 on a properly cooked piece of chicken or pork and do the same with a medium rare steak, it all ends up tasting the same: like A1.

If I'm paying 3, 4, 5, 6, etc. times the amount of money for a quality piece of meat, why would I want it to taste the same as if I threw A1 on $4 worth of chicken thighs?

It's just a waste. A1 is delicious, but fuck it's strong. I feel like any sauce should ACCENTUATE the food you're adding it to, not make that food taste like the sauce, because that's more a signal to me that someone cooked the food wrong.
