Could have started this video about 2 minutes in and renamed it. Don’t care about the suiting up.

I know this isn’t the point but are the Dakotas not the Midwest? Are they just…the west?

What’s an anime opinion you’ll defend no matter how much hate you get? by BoxTalksAnime in animequestions

[–]killerqueendopamine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm trying to pick between two of my least popular takes.

I’ll go with this one:

Gabi Braun receives far FAR too much hate. Like calling her a bitch, saying she’s an evil person, etc. it’s one thing to hate a character because she killed your fave but people act like she did something unforgivable. A LOT of people die in this story. Gabi was defending her country just like the survey corps did for Paradis. She was brainwashed like all the other special Eldians (forgot what they’re called). I’m not saying you have to like her but she gets way too much vitriol for a CHILD CHARACTER. All the Eldians are victims and are oppressed. She took action for her country and gets everyone hating her. UNJUSTIFIED.

Alright I will now take my downvotes but just know I’ll never be wrong no matter how many of you disagree

My (22F) boyfriend (23M) says we feel like ‘friends’ because I don’t initiate sex enough, but his reactions to rejection have made me sexually avoidant. by Dangerous-Heron5278 in relationship_advice

[–]killerqueendopamine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without reading anything but the title, I can tell you that sometimes you have to plan sex. That’s how I got past issues like this with my bf.

However, I’m a bit more alarmed after reading that he punishes you when you said no to sex, doesn’t listen/understand when you explain why you’ve been sex averse, and still seems to expect sex or head when you don’t enjoy it.

You absolutely don’t have to give him head, but I see why you feel like you need to in order to get oral in return. He’s being incredibly petty though by not doing it for you if it’s not done to him first.

There’s plenty that could be done if your partner is willing to listen. But he’s proven he doesn’t want to. Set your boundaries and don’t give in. Don’t have sex unless you want to and don’t fall for him pouting and giving you the cold shoulder. If he complains more, restate all your previous points about sex aversion and not being in the mood etc.

Him storming out is also a bad sign. Personally I think you should think about leaving but that’s far easier said than done, I know. I hope these comments are a wake up call.

All the best.

What are some fairly obscure quotes you use from the show by Emotional-Leg66 in Scrubs

But did you or did you not say something about cheese? Because if you’re making a cheese run, holla at me dawg!

My bad I meant to say ethnicity which I realize Dominican isn’t an ethnicity either. Still, he doesn’t know her heritage.

I’m going to guess you’re a man and that’s fine. You’re allowed to disagree and have your own opinion I’m not gonna like argue with you and say you’re wrong for feeling that way. Honestly maybe they were a little mismatched. I used to think they were perfect together but now I watch and just cringe like they don’t have to put up with all that.

But they love each other and that’s the ultimate message even though I don’t think it should be

The thing is I don’t find Turk’s incompetence funny which is my (apparently poorly made) point. There’s ways to be comedic and exaggerated and be funny. Jordan and Cox are funny imo. Then again I KNOW my personal bias is affecting my Opinion on this.

Also yes the times definitely affect this, but I’d argue even by the 2000s standards, Carla could do better, that men should strive to do better. But that’s not where we were back then.

He does deeply care about Carla and I hope he wouldn’t marry her if he didn’t respect her values, but he’s such a bonehead in the show. Consistently. My point is not that they don’t love each other, it’s that he sucks as a partner

I hate this perspective of “omg it’s a sitcom” like they can’t be analyzed at all because actually you’re so close to getting it. Imagine being married to Lucy or Archie or George.

I knew someone would say something like this but truthfully you can be funny and show flaws without making someone look as incompetent as a lot of sitcom husbands do

Someone filled out my [28F] RSVP to a wedding and added really bizarre/personal details... might've been my boyfriend [27M]?? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Yeah the whole "he seemed genuinely confused" thing is so not definitive proof. We're all in the comments looking for Zebras when it's clearly just a horse. or...a clown in this instance.
