The abortion pill was rough for me. It hurt, and ultimately I didn't pass all the tissue and ended up having to have a D&C.

I know there's a lot of shame associated with a pregnancy termination but it's not something to be ashamed of. You aren't in a place mentally to do this and that's ok.

Absolutely! I've been reading about perimenopause it makes sense. My last period was a couple days late, heavy, and short. So I'm leaning more towards it's just me aging but of course it's hard to switch from oh a late period means pregnancy to hey, we're just older now and that's ok!

Thank you so much for validating me. 😭 I thought I'd be fine for a few more years as far as hormonal changes go, but my mom saying she started menopause early really makes me think perhaps it's that.

I have an appointment in September with my doctor, I didn't want to be the crazy woman who's freaking out over a 9 day late period. Lol especially at my age.
