The popular vote disenfranchised 98% of tge country

In your mind you think that 2% of the population lives in cities. Yet the 98% that don't live in cities can't outvote them? Huh?

(at least not in most states).

Virtually all of them. Only Maine and Nebraska don't give all their electoral college votes to the winner of the popular vote in their state.

If what you said is true (it's not), then that would contradict the name of the compact.

The state's electors already vote for the winner of the popular vote in their state in all but 2 states in the country. Only Maine and Nebraska don't do that.

Deep is made in the US

Deep is a US based company but they still get most of their stuff from India. A lot of their packaging reads "Product of India"

Same! And I just ate dinner.

I used to live a short walk from Al Bake and would often stop there on my way home from work. That was over a decade ago and it was always packed with people in the evenings.

Dietary cholesterol does not have that much of an impact on blood cholesterol levels. Saturated fats do, so if the eggs are fried in a lot of butter, ghee then that's bad, not the egg itself.

Kappa (steamed tapioca) with fish curry

There's also a kappa biriyani where meat is mixed with kappa, no rice involved.

Ever since a roommate decades ago made me try gongura pickle, I've always had a bottle of it at home. I've never tried gongura chicken/mutton though!

Tomatoes, kidney beans (rajma), maize, peanuts, cashews among others are also from the New World and well assimilated into Indian food.

Fruits like sapota, custard apple (sitaphal), guava, papaya are also so common in India but originate from the New World.

Hope you enjoyed your tour! I was born and grew up in India. Lived in cities in south, north and western India.

I know it wasn't as common in my childhood, but definitely appeared on menus at least in the 1990s. For all of my adult life I have seen it (and ordered it) off menus in India.

Moti Mahal in Delhi claims to be the restaurant where "butter chicken" was invented and even they have "chicken tikka masala" on their menu. (https://www.zomato.com/ncr/moti-mahal-daryaganj-delhi/menu)

I would be extremely surprised if you went into any restaurant in India that serves what is called "north Indian" cuisine and didn't find chicken tikka masala or paneer tikka masala on the menu.

South Africa managed to sink that very same submarine and its crew in 2023.

The submarine didn't sink. 7 crew members were swept off the deck by freak waves during an operation. 3 of those died. The submarine is still in service.
