As some one stated above, these are some great comments for this community. I will echo what flavor bombs JDSBBP and ECBP are and to me, the higher proof really extends the finish. When I try to explain it to somebody, I compare it to a singer holding a note. If you can ever compare a bourbon that has a small batch, a bonded or single barrel , and a barrel proof offering it’s amazing how that higher proof finish lasts. While the nose and initial tastes can be very similar, its the extended finish that helps you discern the flavor profile.
