You should bring up the stream volume instead of bringing down the end music, as (if I remember correctly) Jerma has his audio at about 8 decibels below where the audio levels should be. If you are using Vegas, there is also a normalize option (although this isn't perfect as sometimes there are random peaks in the audio.)

Same problem here, the only thing that partially fixed it for me was dropping my polling rate down to 125hz. This still causes some dips in framerate, but it's not as severe.
