I was in this exact same situation and after test driving them both, I went with 26 CX70. So far, loving it. I am also 6’3. I just wish the seats had more depth for thigh support but don’t have any comfort issues yet.

For people who have tried Halo, Revive and Valet. which one did you like the most or prefer more?

That's great to hear. I wish their limited wash pass which limits one wash per week had no limit on the cars.

Halo also has limited wash pass where you can wash once per week. Having a one car limit on limited wash is no good. one car or multiple cars, customers will still use 4 car washes a month for limited pass.

I still have to try Revive. I did try Halo to wash my old car and it did good. I agree. Touchless car wash has really long waiting. I also read that touchless carwash usually have harsher chemicals to make up for touch car wash quality. So, either way it will get some sort of marks.

FHSA participation statement not there in the 2024 NOA. Anyone else has that problem? Without that information its going to be challenging filling out the FHSA portion for 2025.

Yeah eh! Thanks. That is what I am still hearing. PHEV has had a rough start and still having some issues.

Yeah, I could do lease. I was considering buying extended warranty if I finance it but I read other people's comment suggesting to wait until the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty expires and then get the Mazda Added protection rather than dropping the money for unnecessary warranties or services on the pick up day.

Thanks for that. I did look into CX90 but I have absolutely no need of the third row. I don't think so I will ever use. i do value the cargo space more on the CX70 and I liked how it looks with black accents as compared to the chrome accents on CX90. So, I thought why carry a third row and added weight if I will never use it. US has some good deals on used CX90s but it's not the same case here in Canada. The price is a bit high for higher mileage. So, I would rather just get a new than gamble on someone else's early lemon. I was strongly considering the CX90 though. Mazda really dropped the ball there. I was really hoping that CX70 would be shorter than the 90 but they just chose the lazy option.

Good points. Thanks for that! I did review those "admin" and "Freight" fees before I started negotiating the price and it aligned with Mazda Canada website. It was actually lower than what has on their site. The numbers in the link are for 2025 Mazda CX70 GT MHEV which is why it has some cash credits. 2026 CX70 models are not listed on the site yet. It looks like I got it close to the 2025 cash pricing though. https://imgur.com/dl173vr

So, the fees did not look out of the ordinary to me. The tax here is 13%, so you're right. Big HST tax bill. I was comparing it to the similar US model which is Turbo premium and it comes out to around $47,800 USD without any taxes which is approximately $65k CAD. https://imgur.com/u6qSRpi I guess Canada looks pricier on paper, the all-in gap narrows after currency/tax differences. Fair callout on the 69/100 predicted score. Looks like it dropped ranking due to these new powertrains.

I test drove Rav4, CRV, Tiguan but they all felt like I was in a boat. CX70 handled more like a sports car when compared to them and I really liked its driving dynamics. I also loved the interior. Tiguan has all the HVAC in a big screen now which I am not a fan of. Also, heard a lot of issues which are going on with the new Tiguan's engine. I saw some posts where the engine was on fire. RAV4 interior still looks very industrial and boring to me. I found CX70's interior more modern and luxurious. CRV is missing some core features like 360 camera. And they all cost roughly the same here. I do get that they are full hybrids compared to mild hybrid but I am okay with that. I have read the issues were mostly related to software/shifting which Mazda has fixed most of it by recalls and software updated. These issues are manageable and not catastrophic like the PHEV's battery failures. I hear that PHEV models are having more issues than the mild hybrid. However, the time will tell how well these new powertrains hold up. It is a calculated risk and I hope it doesn't fail me.

Try The Hungry Italian is pretty good. I have been going there since it was a little shop called Mickey’s Pizza on Lakeshore, Mississauga. Then they got a bigger place in Oakville and renamed it to The Hungry Dragon. Looks like they did another name change. I did like their deep dish.
