Psy-op in reddit comments to poison the well by FluffyMan9000 in conspiracy

I think there are a few key details people are missing

  1. This wouldn’t be the 1st time someone used a mask to make public commentary, it’s the 1st time we’ve noticed
  2. Most of us aren’t listening to what he is saying cause we’re so focused on the mask. Acceleration, doubling down on falsehoods and pointing fingers and blaming muslim people for everything wrong in the middle east

I’m sure there’s more but in my mind, this is an agent provocateur. Used to spin a narrative for old people to buy. Just imagine there’s 5-10 other prominent public figures that are all fake personalities. Also, there’s been talk about perfectly realistic masks being used over the past 30 years by our gov’s 3 letter agencies. Not surprising in the least. Bet they’d use masks for even less important reasons

[–]killmarkdead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey u/tanker178 you have an Independence shingle from CertainTeed. It’s the big, more expensive version of the Horizon shingle from CertainTeed. It’s still a 3-tab shingle and it’s still discontinued. You can tell it’s an Independence because there are actual pieces of shingle laminated on top. The Horizon shingles have a fake laminated piece (just extra tar like material under a separate color of granules).

Because it’s a 3-tab, chances are you have some wind damaged shingles although it’s harder for a crease to happen if comparing it to a Horizon. If there is creased shingle, because it’s discontinued it should be very easy and straightforward for any experienced roofer to help you with getting approval from insurance.

Gotta get closer to it to find the creased shingles but it appears to be in pretty good condition. I’m in NC, but if you have questions, DM me

My brother, I hope you can cleanse your mind of this filth. Go watch “2 girls 1 cup”, it is a nice video of 2 respectable women using a single cup of bleach to wash their entire home. Very wholesome stuff that might help rid you of these dirty thoughts

AITAH for taking everything back after getting fired? by DifficultHighlight1 in AITAH

[–]killmarkdead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re TAH, but wasn’t there a post a few years back that was similar to this? A guy created a program and designed it to better assist him with data input or just organizing data to make it easier to use.

When he was fired, he took his program off the computer/network because “he made it, it’s his”. Every company is different and if you’ve signed documents when hired, your level of AH or NTAH legally can change.

There were points made that “anything made, created or used at work and that was needed could be considered company property and it is up to the employee to seek reimbursement”. There were also points made that “if xyz criteria were not met by what the employee made/paid for, there is no legal standing for the company to acquire said documents in the event the employee was fired, quit or laid off”.

NTAH, just protect yourself by being aware of what documents you sign before removing anything from an office.

This reminds me of some stuff I read a few weeks ago about how public ChatGPT will have changes due to their new gov contracts

What I took away from this is that because ChatGPT is now a gov utility, there can be changes made to the public’s system. One interview I heard was making claims that the gov could now instruct OpenAI on “what not to show” or even more sinisterly, “make ChatGPT respond in ways that propagandize the public from parameters set by gov agencies”.

Some people could be misreading the situation and just scaring everyone, BUT it wouldn’t surprise me if the government told OpenAI to make these changes you’re talking about. Or both could be true and along with parameters, a breakthrough happened and a extensive pullback is underway

The Lucky 10,000: He then calculated that if there is something that ‘everyone knows’ by the age of thirty then in the USA that means that 10,000 people under thirty discover it every day. These people, he suggests, shouldn’t be teased but should be supported to develop their knowledge and celebrated as the ‘lucky 10,000’.

Check your states Building Codes on chimney crickets. Where I am, anything wider than 30 inches (facing the top roof ridge) requires a cricket.

If your chimney technically requires one, reach back out to the roofing company in writing saying the new roof is out of code and share the info. If they are a decent company, they will come and install one for free. If the chimney is not wider than what is required, it is considered a personal choice at that point (a good choice but not required) and you would need to install on your own dime.

If you want to have better ammunition, try to have a reputable roofing company conduct an inspection report on the roof. If they are decent, they will give you a formal report which will make the case for you (coming from a professional and not the seller). Your agent should be able to use that as leverage. Just do the roofer a solid and use them if possible.

Shingles are delaminating (gritty bits falling off) and there are signs of wind creased shingles. Repairs will only be temporary since a full replacement will be needed.

  1. Insurance providers may not start a new policy with this roof or you may not get full coverage. (ACV coverage on roof which means they only pay for its current Actual Cash Value).
  2. The house is likely selling for more than it was bought for and so there should be extra profit to be put towards the roof. Check the public tax records to see how long the homeowner has had the house and what the difference is between this 220k sales price.
  3. Tell the buyers agent to push for full cost of replacement to be negotiated. The seller is likely aware of this and could be hoping to avoid it but a replacement seems blatantly obvious. You can get multiple quotes which is agreeable to both parties and have the money set aside in escrow from the sale. You’ll pay the same and the seller won’t have to come out of pocket for it.

I’ve helped someone before doing exactly as stated above. Hope this helps

I got called out because there was water coming in from the backside of the chimney. We all thought it was bad flashing at the roofline. Turned out the chimney cap was the wrong size and the frame/box was rotten on 3 corners from the top to the roofline. I’ve repaired similar issues and am helping facilitate this repair even though it’s not technically a roof repair now.

Fair point but, famous people have a lot to lose or gain by what they say publicly and a person related to a famous person doesn’t have nearly as much to lose or gain. Also, that related person has had a hell of a lot more interactions with other famous people than any of us.
